The place worked perfectly for me as I had planned an intensive scuba diving vacation. Extended hours for meals and the buffet, plus the proximity of a dive shop (separate organization from the hotel) with the pier in front of the restaurant meant I could jump out of the boat and grab something to eat before heading back for the next dive. The rooms are also close to the beach and dive center so I could walk back and forth in minutes. I wasn't going to visit the island and the hotel is a bit remote from the city but at the front desk they would call a taxi in just 5min. Staff was always gracious and helpful.

The staff is very friendly but they have no clue how to serve in a restaurant. Food was also not 5 star worthy. The chairs at the pool and the beach are very poor quality and need to be changed asap.

I enjoyed the location, the staff, and the events they held. I definitely would want to go back however we were locked out of our room one day which was incredibly stressful during our vacation and then on the last day we were locked out of our safe. I'm not sure why those happened but it was worrying but overall it was a pleasant stay.

We were hoping that snorkeling off the beach would be better. We had to take a boat to get to excellent snorkeling.

Great dinner options. Definitely make your reservations for the specialty dinners at check-in. Beach is beautiful and pools wonderful. All inclusive plan was sufficient and easy.

There isn't much entertainment at night. It's more of a relaxing laid back stay.

The beach is amazing and the food was tasty especially if you book the royal level! It's a great location to catch rides to snorkel and scuba! The sunsets are breathtaking!

The design of the rooms allows for you to hear everything going on around you. Bring a sound machine. Felt like there could have been a few more activities provided.

Grounds are beautifully kept! Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly! Kid pool is perfect. COVID testing was fast and easy.

The concierge told me they had a « welcome breakfast » to present interesting deals for guests but it was actually a sales pitch to buy a timeshare. The sale representative simply came with us at the breakfast buffet to do her sales pitch. It took us almost all day and it was literally a scam. They are not related to the resort. Be ware of that. They target women specially those who are not traveling with husband or boyfriend. The resort should be more transparent about this. If you ever sign this timeshare contract and you have doubts, make sure to cancel in the 5 days window, if not you will lose your down payment.

I think the main restaurant could do with a little updating. Itis looking rather tired and is on the dark side.

Great location, loved all the tropical surroundings, beach a little on the narrow side. I had read various complaints about the food, but we found it to be quite good. Breakfast was very good. the Italian buffet was so so. We ate at 4 of the specialty restaurants, all good. One thing though they do need to improve on their desserts, did not care for them at all.

diving activities .. at the beginning you were told that all activities were also included. For example, snorkeling, etc. As has turned out, these are only activities that are performed by independent "companies" of the resort. So I had informed me about the diving activities (I've never been diving). One staff of them told me it would cost USD 120. I came back with the needed information and my VISA. In the end, I should have to pay 300USD for 2.5h including preparation and training in the pool! Photos and videos also had cost another 100 USD .. I can unfortunately do not make recommendations here. A friend of us works on the island (remote). She told us that you can perform some very good diving programs for about 350 USD in the center includes 3 days!! so you can then be certified. So my conclusion for the diving program in the resort: rip-off or usury .. the next point is that sunscreen in the hotel also costs USD 21 !!

The resort was great! The hotel was about 20km from the center in an absolutely atmospheric location. Jungle feeling and beach. Room: we had a very large room and a large bathroom. Everything was clean and bright. Pool: the large pool was great. You could lie right on the beach or by the pool. There were also four-poster beds. The location was unique. A little further to the right of the beach, there was blue turquoise water. All drinks were available at the pool bar. no no name products! From Pepsi to alcoholic branded drinks, everything was included The activities were awesome. We played volleyball every day. During our stay, a great volleyball group formed and Jesus and Pedro (animators) were great! Great both of them! Staff: the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Very attentive. Buffet: the buffet had new mottos every day. Italian, Mexican etc. A lot of choice for a large resort. The quality of the food was good. I would give the buffet, the lunch buffet and breakfast a total of 7.5 out of 10 points. Really good.

Concerning minuses - it is mentioned in every comment about this hotel. Unfortunately the food is area for development in this beautiful hotel. There was a lot of food and sometimes it was sad to see that a lot of food wasted just because the food was not tasty or of poor quality. In general, the menu is more designed for the American tourist.

We didn't have high expectations from the island and were very pleasantly surprised by how beautiful it is. If you like peace and quiet, away from loud music and parties - then choose this island. Great place for a family holiday. There is also much to explore around. The hotel has a nice beach and an incredibly beautiful garden. At the time of our stay, the hotel was half full - and it was wonderful. Room and bathroom in the hotel are very large . I liked that there was an area for adults with a separate pool. On the territory of the hotel you can meet different animals - and you feel in complete unity with nature.

There is a gap between when lunch time is offered and dinner time opens (about 16h30 - 18h00) when no snacks are available and that is also about the time that diving/snorkel trips get back - Would be nice if something was available. Our room was close to the fountains and can be noisy until about 22h30 when the entertainment ends. Exterior of the toilet could be cleaned better and the shower gel / shampoo containers in the shower checked for use (ie. in working order) and filled. Also a pity that the use of other restaurants (excluding the buffet) is limited and based on the number of nights that you stay - You also need to reserve these well in advance as they 'fill' up quickly.

Staff were overall very friendly and helpful, comfy beds, spacious bathroom, outside balcony, great location with its own pier and on-site dive shop close to the beautiful reefs. Soft serve ice-cream machine was a bonus and great addition for lunch time. Nice selection of drinks. Enough loungers on the beach, nice large main swimming pool and a nice separate and quiet adults pool. I liked the fact that the buffet theme changed every night (crockery is a bit of a mix of plastic and ceramic at times and in places)

The food was so bad. Very greasy and american buffet for lunch and evening. Bad selection and bad quality. Breakfast was okay but the same food everyday. The area is very humid and the rooms are also a bit moisty. The staff and the other hand was SO SO nice, friendly and welcomming also very kind and helpful. when We told them about our unhappinies with the food they were really trying to fix it and make it better. Choose this hotel for a fantastic location and friendly staff but not for food.
