I can't think of anything I did not like.

The facility is beautiful - each room is unique. We had the Angel View Suite which has a nice view of the bay. The room is quite large and very open and private. We opted for breakfast in the room and it was perfect. Everyone is super helpful.

The food experience was not great. Breakfast was fine with fresh cut fruit and juice etc but both the lunch and dinner were a little lacking. We did not have dinner in the main restaurant but the live mariachi music ( that we could hear) made up for any inadequacies

Situated in an authentic neighborhood ( not many left) on the hillside above the main plaza and cathedral means amazing views and sunsets and just a 2-3 walk down stairs to the centre of everything. Great location! Finally, a hotel with old style values, lovely linens, turn down with handmade chocolates, the ability to have meals anywhere on the property, antique silverware… all the old worlde details that make it so unique. Everything spotless with immaculate gardens. Staff are a joy! Kind, attentive and pour a mean margarita! Pools are pristine and quiet, hard to believe you are in the centre of a bustling tourist town.

We loved the property.

Charming hacienda that felt like we were visiting Old Mexico. Staff is excellent and attentive. Food was fantastic and the location is excellent.

House guests would drink in the pool with loud conversation and music playing. Restaurant tipping was not transparent, the bill you sign for is different to what is charged to your room (after you have tipped staff in cash). Suggest the menu needs to note that 20% gratuity is added to all restaurant bills. Concierge/reception were empowered to fix up the issue which we appreciated.

Wonderful quality accommodation and dining experience. Friendly staff. Beautiful gardens, swimming pools and antiques to admire.

nothing not to like. be prepared for lots of stairs within the property. if you’re walking in the area, be ready for a hike! we enjoyed it but it can be difficult and sweaty! we’re in great shape and it was still a workout although streets and area is beautiful.

the property is beautiful, well maintained and very peaceful. it’s like an oasis in the middle of the city. great breakfast brought to our room.

Bed was a little short, my feet stuck off the end. Our room was comfortable but the access was a little strange as we had to walk through the bar of the restaurant to get to it. I guess that comes with the experience of staying in an old Hacienda.

Exquisite destination. I wish we could have stayed longer. Everything exceeded my expectations and I'm looking forward to returning.

Our “Garden” room, though stunning, with a nice king bed, is located next to the restaurant and can be quite loud in the evenings. The staff kindly offered to give a us different room, however we LOVED the outdoor garden baconly from our room too much to leave it. The restaurant closes at 10:30pm so sound after that was not an issue.

This property is one-of-a kind. Not your standard uniform hotel . Each room and outdoor space is unique, like stepping back in time to old Mexico. The attention to detail and decor has made the various outdoor and indoor spaces of this romantic property a delight to the senses, from the three small pools, to the gorgeous and delicious “rooftop” fine-dining restaurant, to the inviting courtyards that beckon you to linger a little longer...this property is sure to delight. The staff is attentive and professional and the cleanliness is top-notch.

I actually loved this property and it was stunning but it was so unfortunate that they were charging high prices while having an elevator being installed outside of the rooms. Not a peaceful environment. Would love to stay there again and enjoy not while construction is happening. Even the entrance way was torn apart at one point. I really wish they would let you know how bad the construction would be prior to arrival.

Staff were not that great or helpful , particularly the cleaners. The people working in the restaurant were great, clear and made good drinks. The cleaning staff and front desk, at times, were oddly rude and unhelpful. One example - when we checked out we found the hotel overcharged us on two separate occasions. One of them they refused to change because they said it was to do with the exchange rate, but it actually wasn’t because I had locked in the room rate at a certain amount already. Booking is helping me recover this but the hotel should have adjusted, rather than making the customer have to sort out their mistake. Then the second charge was then actually saying we hadn’t paid our room in full and therefore owed more $$. After 10 minutes of trying to show that it had been charged the woman got the manager, literally held her hand up to me to shush me as I started explaining the situation to her manager,the manager told her she was wrong and gave me money back, and the employee did not apologize. I really can’t make this stuff up, and it was just a shame to end it that way when it was a very quick fix on their error and instead it ended up being more difficult and rude.

Rooms are amazing. 3 pools all very quiet and secluded. Good food onsite too which was surprising. Great drinks onsite. The space itself is just mind blowing beautiful. Location is good in old town/zona romantica and 6 mins walk to beach.
