Location was the best. And fair comfort expected. Meals were good enough as well.

This was a great bargain stay, and as such, we have very few complaints. Nevertheless, here are the things that could be improved. The Wi-Fi wasn't that great. There were many outlets in the rooms, but few that worked. Bring extension cords. The beds were the typical hard beds found throughout México; the thin pillow top did little to mitigate the unyielding firmness of the mattress beneath. **Some reviews complained that their reservations through Booking were not honored. I must admit, check-in took a very long time, and the employee seemed put out by our mere presence. I started to worry that the same would happen to us, peeking apprehensively at the scowling face of the employee as his fingers continued clickety clacking on the keyboard. About 10 minutes later; however, he sullenly led us to the room we reserved at the Booking price. Perhaps a smile and greeting could brighten up the check-in process...

This was a really great value for the price we paid for the deluxe suite. Great location. Just a few blocks from the town center, restaurants, cathedral, and bus station. Nice lobby. The lobby restaurant was always full, though we did not have time to try the food. The suite featured two beds, a bathroom, a living room space with a beat up couch and small flatsceen TV, and a kitchen. We did not use the kitchen or living space since we were only there for one night. The bedroom area had two beds and a large flatscreen TV. The bathroom was in the corner of the suite, between the kitchen and bedroom and had a door that opened to each side. A long counter flanked both sides of the modern bathroom sink which was located outside the toilet/shower room. This was very convenient when getting ready in the morning. There was a large closet in the hall across from the bathroom sink, and an additional small closet with a safe and shelves in the bedroom area. There was also a small desk and mirror outside the other door of the bathroom near one of the beds. The A/C worked well, though in December, we only used it to clear away the humidity from shower steam. Check out was simple and quick. The small elevators were fast and smooth. The room lighting was a bit dim and yellow, but a large window provided sunlight to brighten the bedroom when the shades were open.

I didn't like this place I loved it. The staff is amazing and were very helpful when I had injured myself and had had surgery. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. It's also a block away from Downtown Irapuato where there are many things to see.

I opened a support ticket with Booking.com and never got a response, meaning both the property and this OTA have lost my business. I made two separate bookings for an important conference (some of my colleagues were to arrive a few days later). On one booking I called the property to make an adjustment to bed configurations that I could not make online. When I arrived they had no knowledge of the change and wanted to charge different amounts. The front desk had promised to send email confirmations to me, which came 24 hours late and erroneous. Later in the week when my colleagues arrived, they refused to honor the booking, the hotel was full, and they didn't offer to assist in finding other accommodations. The property has configured their options on Booking.com to allow for 100% payment to occur at the property. The desk told us that since we never paid a deposit, the booking was invalid. They never even attempted to speak to me about this by email or in-person...I was already there! This is in direct contradiction to the information on Booking.com and what was in my confirmation email, meaning the property was in violation of its contract with Booking.com. I immediately sent a message to Booking.com and, one month later, never got a response. What a nightmare. My colleagues had flown in from another continent and had no beds, during the largest event in the city during the year.

Breakfast was good, the room was fine, wifi worked fairly well. A shame since my colleagues were walked and the front desk staff were completely uncoordinated.
