Pool side chairs being “saved” and not being used for hours. Food was sometimes excellent, other times barely edible-undercooked and heavily salted. Seemed to be a more family focused resort which I didn’t pick up in the promotions that I saw. Entertainment could have been more adult focused.

The beach. The online pictures show a beautiful beach and that was one reason we chose this resort. Perhaps update your website as it seemed to be everyone’s biggest complaint when we were there.

The beach area was horrible very little sand and murky waters not the blue you see on ads, they charged me for taxes after my stay, don’t recommend it if you like the beach. The pools where clean but where very warm in temperature

The Asian place food was not good but they tried They did not make none of the alcoholic drinks well example sex on the beach, daiquiri, margarita and others. It was not drinkable at all, not sure if they just people that are following a recipe on how it supposed to made but do not know how.

Beach - rocky and full of algea, we only went twice in a week and stayed under an hour Lack of events/activites - There wasn’t anything much to do after 10PM, and the bars close at 11PM. Room service is 24hrs but that doesn’t make it up for it.

the room temperature was too cold and not went up soon. It was not disclosed the breakdown of price amount of laundry so could not justify the price showed check out is appropriate.

Room service was a little unreliable. There were times when food arrived very late or not at all, and there was no real number to call to follow up. While I would highly recommend the spa for massages and the hydrotherapy treatment, I would not recommend the spa for nail services. They were extremely overpriced for the value and I had some questions about cleanliness and the reuse of tools.

The staff was excellent! I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff was. Everyone was personable, attentive and friendly. The resort was extremely accommodating of my gluten allergy, and there were plenty of options for me to eat. One waiter went and sought out gluten free bread for me, unsolicited, so that I would have some before dinner. I did not feel like I had to sacrifice because I had an allergy. The food was abundant. There were plenty of restaurants to choose from and plenty of bars. The activities were nice, and there were options for exercise if you chose. The room was spacious and very clean.

Everything was amazing except could not use beach do to sea weed washing up and they clean it all day. Also we were unable to use the jetted tub in the room because we couldn’t get the stopper to work.

the lobby area is horrible and needs a lot of work still! the food was not that great! The beds at the pool area which you have to rent only serves 4 people which makes no sense if its an all inclusive hotel! everything they give you at the bed you can easily get cause they have waiters walking around! The theater is located out doors so if it rains the show is over cause the lobby area have many leaks!

I loved the pool area there was 6 different pools to choose from! I love all the activities that they had on the resort for kids and adults! the nightly entertainment was wonderful! Arianna was the best and most pleasant employee!

Not a big deal but communications could have been a bit better. There were times that some restaurants were closed when the website said they should have been open. I think handing out a paper schedule or posting it in main areas would have been good.

The resort was beautiful and convenient - so many pools, restaurants and bars. The staff members were very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and beautifully presented. Our rooms were lovely and very comfortable. We enjoyed the stretching, Zumba aqua fit classes.

If you have a car the location is quite convenient, between Cancun and Xcaret, Playa del Carmen, Tulum. But as we didn't have one you need to get taxis (no public bus or Uber), which operate on elevated fixed prices. So once you're in the hotel, you have few options to move about. And we hit the seaweed season, so the beach was more or less unusable. The hotel did a great job on cleaning up though, doing daily rounds gathering the stuff. But if you're happy to stay at the hotel or have a car, location is brilliant.

The staff are absolutely amazing, everybody is putting in long shifts with a smile on their face. Everyone is genuinely nice, without faking it for the tips. Shoutout to Ana for the amazing omelets for breakfast. There's an army of gardeners, pool boys, bus boys, animators, chefs etc, so you never really have to ask twice for anything. The restaurant options are substantial, we stayed 4 nights and still couldn't try all of it. The facilities are quite nice, a lot of pools, new gym, it's never really crowded and you don't need to fight for spots. Rooms are super clean and spacious with sweet balconies. It's a fantastic place, you can easily spend a week there without the need to move around. There's a daily entertainment program with tequila tastings, dancers, fitness courses, bbq and whatnot. The kids club is absolutely fantastic.

The beach was not nice if you like to dive in. Lots of rocks and (smelly) seaweed. The food comes fast when you order it but I guess at the cost of things being re-heated. The hot dishes did not taste freshly made. The grill was disappointing. They serve as rib-eye second class meat that it is not ribeye at all. The bathtub (jacuzzi) was not clean and it was not working. They came amd fixed it, but took a while. The drinks were watery and you cannot taste or feel the alcohol. And, though it is advertised in their website, they do not have equipment for any water activities (snorkel, kayaking etc). Not even for rental. Not all restaurants are opened all the time. You have 3-4 options per meal per day to choose from. There’s a hotel with the same name but in Cancun. This causes a lot of confusion with the taxis that often take people to the wrong one. Each one of them is 20-30 min away from the airport in opposite directions. It is a hustle when you go to the wrong one and can be expensive as well. The hotel is 30min away from bars, nightclubs, restaurants or stores and the taxi drivers charge USD30-40 each way.

The highlights are: hospitality. Everyone who works at the hotel, no matter their role, was friendly, polite and attentive. The room is spacious. The spa was amazing too. The installation, the service, the massage. The dishes are interesting and good. The gym was great! Spacious, diverse equipment and modern ones. I would say it is good if you just wanted to stay in the hotel to relax, do the activities they offer and do not want to get inside the water or go out. If you do want to enjoy the beach at your hotel or stay closer to nightlife I would advise the hotels at Cancun and not at Riviera Cancun like this one.

although beautiful furniture and space layout, the place misses some interior decoration inside: some plants and more local art etc would do wonders…for the moment it feels very cold/business like especially the dinner restaurants. it’s also a pity you cannot dine outside i guess this comes with the climate but the room was damp the whole stay, all our clothes even the ones in the cupboards were moist, so we put everything out on the balcony during the day to dry out
