When arranging for a taxi to the airport, I was disappointed with the pricing. They had me pay $1400 which I felt was a lot. When I made my way to the airport, I'd become friendly with the driver and simply asked, what's the normal price of a taxi to the airport, and he said $1000. I understand a commission for the hotel for 'calling the taxi cab company', but a 40% markup left a bad taste after an otherwise perfect stay. If not for feeling this, the stay would have been a 10/10.

I loved this place! It had a cabin feel with our room on the top floor, it was very quiet and private with a great garden. The location made it easy to get around anywhere we wanted. The beds were extremely comfortable. I was so happy to have selected this place!

The rooms are super clean and spacious enough. The hot water in the shower was the best we had throughout our travel time in Mexico. The hotel staff was extremely attentive, helping us with high quality day trips and taxi bookings. Amazing value for money.

The floor was FREEZING. I really wish they had slippers in the room. also, the wifi wasn’t great and kept disconnecting. we had some issues with the hot water in the shower but they resolved it quite quickly.

We absolutely loved this hotel. The location is ideal, the staff super friendly and the room very clean. It was definitely my favorite hotel throughout our Chiapas trip. The hotel is also super quiet at night which is a huge plus.

Hotel Junway is just lovely! The large modern rooms have wonderful beds and bedding, large spacious bathroom, great hot water, and the coffee pot and coffee was such a nice extra amenity!

Junvay is a newly refurbished colonial style hotel with a wonderful courtyard and a great restaurant open to the courtyard. Location is amazing, near the plaza. Safe area.

There was no door in the shower space, so the bathroom got wet after 2 people had showered. The internet wasn't very good, there wasn't signal in the entire room and the speed was medium at best. There's no restaurant or food service in the hotel. I asked for extra towels because we got sick during our stay and needed them, and the front desk refused to provide me with more than 1 extra towel.

The bed was amazing, very big and comfortable! The room was spacious, enough room for our bags and more. Good shower pressure and temperature. There was a nice coffee machine in the room, and they provided some refills at no extra cost. Also, there's free coffee service provided in the patio. The staff was friendly overall, specially the cleaning staff, which was great. Location is good, it's not at the very city center, but it's a quick walk from there and the street is very calm.

Staff didn't know ANY English. The was no climate control whatsoever in the room, and it was very very cold. There was no water pressure in the shower, nor a shower curtain/door.
