The staff is great. Always friendly and helpful. You get a little map at the start of your stay with some good tips about places to see/go, things to do and where to eat. In addition they also keep you up to date about daily events or interesting things to do/visit in other locations you're still travelling to. When I arrived I mentioned I wanted to do an organized trip the next day and it was sorted immediately. In the morning you get a nice juice, coffee and snack. The location is quiet, yet along some main roads that will take you where you need to be easily. The room was very clean and fresh. Had a bit of a spa vibe with some nice smells. Really enjoyed my short stay there and would definitely recommend.

Nothing ..all was perfect.

The hotel was totally charming with lovely plants and decor reflecting the Mexican theme and many quirky and interesting objects d'art throughout. Quiet and opposite a small park yet all attractions nearby. A real bonus to have good A.C. as well as overhead fan and plenty of hot water. Leo the owner is on hand any time to assist with advice and recommendations. Every morning I was greeted with complimentary fresh juice, excellent coffee and a pastry even though breakfast is not offered...to me this is breakfast..a lovely surprise! Stay here if you visit Merida for a unique experience.

We LOVED staying here. The owners Leo & Maria are super attentive, they know good food, you have to follow the recommendations they give you! They take great care of their guests! Coffee, juice and a nice snack to start your day, all on the house. Late in the evening you will meet Agustin (hope I got his name right), he’s the nicest guy ever and will provide you with a bottle of water before heading off to bed. The room was perfect, nice view and clean, the bed comfortable and big. The location is also amazing! Love to come back some time! When going to Mérida stay at La Piazzette ✨💯

Everything about this small hotel was great! Although no actual breakfast the availability of a really good coffee, juice and a croissant to start the day was a bonus! The location is excellent in a small quiet square, but only a 10/15 min to the main square and many interesting museums and other attractions. The staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a really nice area in the lobby where you can sit and have a coffee or beer and just relax. There is also a nice area on the first floor with lots of plants where you can find shade and peace. I would thoroughly recommend, we enjoyed it immensely, and the air con and wi fi all 100% effective. Go!

Perfect place to stay ! Everything is perfect, the room the location, the place itself and even if breakfast is not included we received some nice coffee, juices (several times) and cake. Leo was a perfect host always caring for us and giving us some precious advices ! We definitely recommend it and would love to come back.

Just be aware that the complimentary breakfast is only a (very good) coffee, juice and a piece of cake, or you can go out for breakfast. Also bring cash to pay the bill if you don't want to pay a 5 percent card fee.

Windows on our room did not have mosquito mesh on (but we did not need to open the window as the AC worked really well).

Great small hotel, well located within the Centro area, and within easy walking distance of bars and restaurants around the main square. My wife and I stayed in one of the garden rooms at the rear of the hotel, shrouded amongst cooling vegetation. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the shower and AC worked well. The lobby is cool and breezy and opens onto a small square where we saw several local activities (dancing, card fair etc) take place during our 3 day stay. We had no issues parking our hire car in the spaces bordering this square, and everything felt extremely safe and secure (as did the whole of Merida). Breakfast consisted of a continental style bread/cake, fresh juice, and delicious coffee each day which was all we needed to set ourselves up for the day, without spoiling our appetites for all the delicious food to be had in the city! What made our stay especially enjoyable was the (originally French) owner who is fluent in several languages including English. We found him engaging and friendly, extremely helpful, and he could not have done more to help us by recommending cultural events, bars/restaurants (we particularly enjoyed Bird), and even planning a Cenote trip. All the other staff were equally friendly during our stay - speaking a little Spanish helps. If you are looking for a comfortable, friendly, centrally-located hotel in Merida with handy parking and excellent service you will find it all here. Highly recommended!

Everything! We felt like home. It was nice, clean and beautiful with its common spaces filled with plants. What we liked the most was the warmth from the staff, specially Agustín. He was super nice and helpful, telling us about all the activities happening in the city and resolving all of our questions. Also they told us they don't offer breakfast, only a complimentary coffee, cake and seasonal fruit juice. I have to say, even though they don't consider it to be breakfast it was one of the nicest we've had in Mexico. Also they prepared it for us very early at 6 am the day we left. Very grateful for the treatment, was a pleasure to stay there and would definitely recommend it.

Everting was to our liking!

Leo & Maria were very welcoming and daily made sure we had information on different events happening around the area. Our rooms were meticulously cleaned each day. After travelling for many days we needed to do laundry. It was beautifully laundered same day by hotel staff. Huge perk!! No matter what question we had an answer was provided, a phone call made or a tour booked. We had service 24/7! I’d in Merida again we will be back.

The hotel is owned by a French who speaks also very good English and is incredibly welcoming. Once you checked it, he offers you a fresh juice and spends time giving you all kinds of tips to visit Merida (restaurants, events, what to see etc) which made it super easy for us to visit since we didn't have much time in the city. The room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel doesn't provide a breakfast but you will still be offered a juice, coffee/tea as well as a Mexican pastry in the morning. You can also visit a lot by foot due to location of hotel. Highly recommend staying there!
