Best location you could ask for in PDC. Right on 5th Ave but the moment you walk in it’s SO quiet and peaceful. Couple minutes walk down a beautiful street to the beach and lots of good food spots nearby. The hotel itself is gorgeous - the garden and breakfast space feels like a jungle and the rooms are beautiful. A full breakfast of fruit, coffee, toast, omelettes is included and the staff are so lovely. This is my favourite hotel I’ve ever stayed in, SO sad to leave x

Just and observation, the room does not have a mini fridge, so we could't cool our water bottles. We had some sort of problem and had to take cold showers for a day - but the weather didn't make us suffer!

The location is really good! The hotel is near the beach and also right next to Quinta Avenida! The place is comfy and cozy - having breakfast close to nature is a plus! The room feels like you're staying at a friends' house, it has a familiar feeling to it.

Some of the furniture was more decorative than functional. Bed was very hard but got used to it after a few nights. Our top floor room had a loud pump on the roof going off every few minutes. Was hard to get a good nights sleep because of that.

The location was beautiful! A true oasis in the middle of busy playa del carmen. La semilla I had a fantastic experience at La Semilla hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout my stay. The spacious and comfortable beds ensured a restful night's sleep. The beautiful courtyard where breakfast was served felt like a tranquil oasis, enhancing the overall sense of well-being. The daily varied breakfast was excellent, adding a delightful touch to each morning. I highly recommend La Semilla for a memorable and comfortable stay.

The hotel itself was gorgeous, especially the garden. The location was perfect for us, on a very pretty street a bit out of the way of the main tourist section which was nice most of the time and then they had bikes we could use to get to that area when we didn’t feel like walking

You'd have to wait for 5minutes for hot water in the shower, not a big issue, just a big waste of water. It might be difficult for some people to carry the luggage on the stairs. The bicycles that they offer are completely useless and dangerous to use, they are falling apart, but probably a 10$ fix would do the job.

Very nicely furnished hotel, you could see that someone is paying attention to details. Best thing was that from the balcony you could see only trees, so it didn't feel like in the city. Breakfast was really delicious and the place to eat it among all the trees was very relaxing. Bed was comfortable. There is a restaurant just next door, so there is some noise, but no loud music and usually ended around midnight. They have parking places right in front of the entrance. It's right in the centre, but on a nice, green alley going straight to the beach (the beach close by is awful, but 10mins walk down the road there is a very nice and wide public beach).

The best place we stayed in the whole of Mexico. Ale was lovely, the room was spacious and the aircon was really good. The breakfast was delicious and all the members of staff were so friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have picked a better place to stay in Playa del Carmen. Also it’s really close to the beach (5 min walk) and near the restaurants and bars.

Location was great. Right between 5th Avenue and the beach with some great restaurants and places for a drink nearby (Chela de Playa a particular favourite of ours). Great breakfast each morning prepared fresh and to your liking. Staff were super helpful throughout with recommendations and getting us things. Beautiful courtyard with trees/plants galore.

The shower head could have had more water pressure or maybe be cleaned from build up, but it really didn't bother us

The location is great, a block off the main street so it is more quiet, but easy to walk to the main restaurants, bars, and fun. I also feel like the bars and restaurants right near this hotel were more authentic and affordable than the main strip. Alejandro was so helpful and made us feel very welcomed and gave e valuable local insights. The included breakfast was also the best food I had my whole trip! 5 stars:)

Located next to outdoor restaurants, it can be a little noisy in the evening. Although, we slept right through it as we were tired from the day activities.

Everyone is so Kind - you have to ask them for Restaurant recomendations! Djungle is really interesting with all the animals Right beside the window That you can easily feed if you like to. Superb Breakfast! In a more quiet zone of the fifth Avenue

Truly the best breakfast we had in Playa del Carmen, prepared by Gabriel every morning. Pleasant decor with good size room. Comfortable bed. Good wifi connection. Alejandro at the front desk recommended a great Argentinian restaurant and overall helped us with every inquiry/question we had. Small, but unique and tranquil breakfast area. And pretty good wine offered to us nightly at the reception.

I found that the room prices were a bit high regarding the room amenities (small bathroom, very low water pressure)
