The room had initally a weird smell. A bit rundown. There was loud music coming from a bar next door.

Great choice for anyone on a tight budget and looking for a great location. Rooms were clean, hot water and water pressure were good, and AC was working. Service by the pool was good too.

It seems that the hotel has passed their golden age... You can realize that on their facilities which are old. The rooms are small and some utilities doesn't work well. The day of my stance the elevator doesn't work and some bathrooms were unavailable. One think I really like was their restaurant, the meals were delicious and the options of the buffet were wide. This will be the only thing that could make me return to the place, the breakfast, but not to spend the night again.

I like the location it is very close to downtown and all the nightlife which has to offer Merida's center

There was just one old elevator working, the other one seems in maintenance.

The location of the hotel is at the city center. You can visit by walking different touristic points of the city. Also it has its own parking place. The pool was nice and the buffet breakfast one the best.

a little run down . the hotel needs a good renovation .. until then, prices should come down a little .. like 25% or so ..

I had the 4th floor executive suite at the front extremity of the building .. they come one per floor , overlooking the calle 60 that goes from south to north .. room is nice , good size living room and bathroom . Very quiet Very nice room all in all

We had the suite with the attached balcony. Great for sunbathing, great for privacy, but then also - no view of anything. It was also a little bit of a hike getting from our room to the front entrance. If it was raining we'd get wet before leaving. Only issues though. Really nice stay overall.

The room was spacious, the staff members were courteous, and the location was exceptional. Close to parks, shopping, restaurants, and the Paseo de Montejo strip. The pool was lovely and the entire facility was clean and well-kept.

Indeed the hotel is a bit old but it’s still very good. Unfortunately no early checking possible but you can leave your luggage. The swimming pool is on the shadow from 4pm on, so not very useful with a checkin at 3pm…

The room was very clean and spacious. Hot showers, hair dryer. Great hotel with all you need. Nice view from the upper floors. 10 minutes by foot to the main square.

Original room we got (junior suite) didn’t have any proper window, so we ended up upgrading for an additional fee to have windows and a nice view.

The staff are amazing. Friendly, accommodating and responsive. the location is perfect, on a lovely street and close to everything.

The rooms are old and in need of an upgrade. The bath (and towels) had stains.

Reception and staff in general was very friendly and helpful. I loved the swimming pool!

The front desk staff was not friendly at all. They were not hospitable and could care less if you were enjoying your stay or not. We feel they have the wrong staff working for them. The building is very dated and is in need of a serious make over. They have small upgrades here and there but not enough to want to stay again. Also, the towels (including the pool ones) were very old. The restaurant staff for the free breakfast were under staffed and were unable to handle the morning crowd. Like we said again, serious upgrades if you want to compete in the hotel business. We saw another hotel near downtown Merida that had al the bells and whistles we were looking for. A lost opportunity for this hotel as they appear to have been in business for more than 40 years. It's a shame they let it fall apart.

The location was excellent. That was the only saving grace for this stay. We were able to walk to the main parts of the city and site see.

The management. I wanted to extend from 8 to 10 nights, but they were asking 50% more of the daily rate. So I went somewhere else.
