The hotel is a bit farther from the center of the city than we realized. Taxis are very cheap so it wasn’t a problem, and the area was nice and quiet and peaceful, but we didn’t want to be out walking in our neighborhood past 10pm. It was just a little desolate at nighttime for a group of girls. During the day it was lovely!

Loved the physical space of the hotel- the lobby and courtyard were so pretty and the suite was spacious. We also loved the staff- everyone was so kind and helpful with answering our questions, getting us set up with drivers, etc. breakfast was also delicious!

Breakfast was confusing. My room was next to the lobby, so a little noisy. Lighting was not great in the room. Minor things.

My room was in the reception area. They provide earplugs but you can still hear the staff talking and any guest passing by and talking. Only one room in reception area. The rest are at the back so doubt they could hear a thing.

Such a fabulous place. Everyone so friendly and eager to please. Always a smile too. Water bottles can be refilled too which was fantastic. Walking distance to everything there’s to see and eat in Oaxaca. Mercado de la Merced 2 streets up has great food and much on the quieter side of the 2 main ones. But just walk the streets and the food vendors have the most delicious food ever

I was in the room near the reception area. While quite reasonably priced, it was a bit loud late at night. If I had been provided with a fan, it would have cut out much of the sound. I asked for one, but none on site.

I like the location - a bit off the beaten track. very nice staff. And I really liked the long walks I took from the hotel.

Individual bungalow style apartments in a great location and great staff. Dulce, the Manageress was so efficient, helpful and full of local knowledge. Her help really made our stay in Oaxaca memorable.

We asked for the alcohol to be removed in the comments when making the reservation but it was there when we arrived. We didn't ask after checking in but I don't doubt they would have done it for us had we asked.

The hostess/manager Dulce was amazing to work with from my first contact after making the reservation to the time we left and everything in-between. The little patio outside our suite was quite comfortable and a great place to have morning coffee that was provided. We were helped to our room and everything was explained. The housekeeping service was above expectation. The amenities in the room were above expectation.

No hand towels for the kitchen and only one for the bathroom. Coffee maker made weak coffee but was a little better when used with (fresh) ground coffee we purchased locally. The included “pods” didn’t seem to work well and coffee didn’t stay hot long in the pot.

Excellent time in Oaxaca for my adult daughter and myself. Having a comfortable, safe, and centrally located hotel made the trip top notch!

One big part of this hotel was that it was quiet. It was near downtown and the zocalo but far enough away to not have so much of the city sounds. We enjoyed it very much.

We stayed for 5 days and loved having the suite with a couple seating options - indoor and out - and a separate bedroom. The suite was off the main road which was quiet. Oaxaca city can be loud at night with lots going on. Dulce and the staff were amazing! They made sure were had everything needed from lots of water (and not plastic bottles, thank you) to transportation, laundry and recommendations for food and sights.

If you really want to have a good rest, this is the place you are looking for. It is quiet and not far from Centro. Additionally, the staff is friendly and attentive. They helped us by booking tours and the taxi to the airport. Gracias por todo!

The A/C was only available in the bedroom not in the entire suite. Water pressure was pretty weak in the shower. We thought the price was a little bit steep given that the location is not in the heart of the town center.

Super friendly staff and very comfortable bed. Very quiet and about a 15 min walk into the town center to shops and restaurants etc.
