The room we had only had one window and the room was so humid, stale and warm. With the airco it was freezing.

The place is beautiful and right next to the beach. The breakfast is amazing and there is so much to do. It is also tranquil and good for relaxing.

Room 102 should not exist. This room is right next to the STAFF room and the staff arrives early 7-9am and you cannot get a good sleep because they are very loud. Literally, this room should not exist because you can hear everything that happens and you cannot rest. The shower head was broken and kept leaking both nights. We put something in the bottom to mitigate the impact and nothing. They promised me someone was going to come and fix it and it never happened.

The property is perfect and situated in a very good spot. The fact that is next to the beach and the sea breeze is so relaxing.

A great place to stay to explore the beaches, surf, bodyboard or a boat ride to the local islands

The marina area could do of a little clean up. A proper pathway to the pick up and drop off points to go out on boat excursions would be an improvement. The local restaurants and stores tend to cater to the high end clientele that frequent the town from the exclusive resorts nearby which means prices are inflated.

Great location, in the middle of Punta de Mita and right on the beach. Nice pool and lounge chairs and a sandy beach with some rocks in front. Easy walk to restaurants, shops, beaches and surf board rentals.

The room itself wasn't amazing. Beds were a bit uncomfortable and our washroom was small. The toilet seat didn't stay up and the sink drain cover was loose. Water pressure was low. Beach vendors were a bit too constant in the afternoon.

Hotel grounds were very unique and mostly well-kept. The location on the beach was great, and close to other restaurants and stores. The pool was great for my toddler. Staff were friendly and hospitable. I loved the hammocks.

The beach isn’t that great as it kinda has a rocky bottom except for one little section. Mattresses were like sleeping on a box spring-not comfy at all.

2 storey motel/hotel is right on the beach which was the reason we booked. Pool and deck is fabulous for lounging. Hotel has a nice atmosphere.

I didn't really see anyone swimming on the beach in front of the hotel because it's very rock (as in, there are large rocks right off the shore), though a surfer did swim out from there during high tide. That's not really the hotel's fault, but luckily it's near the public beach, which is a lot bigger and has sections that are pretty clear of rocks where people to go swimming and surfing. I wasn't a big fan of the breakfast buffet, as they only had one server and it was hard to get service if there was more than one other table for her to wait on. We were also not supposed to hang out swimsuits out to dry outside our rooms, which I understand messes with the vibe, so there was no good way to get those dry as far as I know.

I visited Punta de Mita for a wedding and needed accommodation where I could work remotely during the day (in the week leading up to the wedding). This is a nice little hotel with a great location on the beach (very rocky), a few minutes walk from the public beach (much easier to swim), and near some great restaurants. It also has a non-heated pool and offers a breakfast/lunch buffet for $190 MXN. The room was pretty comfy, and it was very nice to have A/C on days when it was hot. I booked one of the smaller rooms and didn't have a desk, but there is a conference room where I was able to work on my laptop when needed. It's also a couple doors down from a very nice cafe called El Cafecito (which I preferred to the breakfast at the hotel). The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I had no idea how to get there from Puerto Vallarta, so the hotel sent me a list of travel options (taxi, bus companies, etc.) after I messaged about it. The wifi speed was good throughout my stay.

Facility 5/10 - particularly the shower. There is almost no hot water with minimum water flow. I understand this might be a common thing in Mexico, but I love a warm shower and the water in the hotel definitely not up to my warm level. You can tell that the hotel has put in lots of effort to make it comfortable.

Location 10/10 - beachfront hotel has a pool and restaurant attach to it, plenty of Mexican seafood restaurant nearby. Cleanness 10/10 - Hotel is very well maintained, it is looking a bit dull but clean. I was visiting this town to attend the hidden beach tour and this is a transit hotel for me, overall this hotel is meeting my expectation and worth the money. Front Desk girls are very nice, didn't speak much English but my check in was smooth. I woke up 6 am and went to the pier next to the hotel (45 seconds walking distance) and enjoyed the sunrise.

The hammocks by the pool have been removed since our previous stay. They're missed. A mini fridge in the rooms would be very useful. And more coat-hangers :)

Sixth visit to Meson De Mita and there's been some renovations since we were last there: pool area improvements, new breakfast bar, small dining tables overlooking the beach and ocean. The room had been refreshed too. For the $s, and location, there's no better place to stay in Punta Mita. Staff are great, very helpful. Oscar's taco stand is directly across from the hotel - a new favourite (they close at 6pm though) now Teresa's Taco's up the hill appears to have closed down.
