The no luggage policy in the room is quite uncomfortable, and the lady at the check-in enforced it quite rudely.

New and clean, a great stay in the shared room

Great hostel if you want a quiet retreat. Very thoughtful indoors with trees and pool inside. Good for spending some solo time with some reading and working.

What a beautiful place in the heart of Tulum! We booked a private room with a bathroom, but this place also accommodates those who are back packing and offers hostel rooms, which are shared. The staff were super helpful and gave us an itinerary of places to visit, including excursions and food. There's a kitchen downstairs, which is shared, but allows you to cook and make drinks.

Sagging matress in our room. Most likely that owner was already planning to fix this because they have attention for details.

-small room but it offers everything U need because you won't spend much time inside the room itself. -liked the Hotel/hostel combo formula it creates a good atmosphere. -Accommodation looks like a relaxing oasis in the city -Very comfortable room with good aircon and next seperate but private use bathroom with lock. - fast wifi was great 👍 👍 -Amazing relaxing comfortable place. -Compliments for the staff cleaners they do an amazing job in the upkeep of this place. -ideal to have a small kitchen u can use to prepare some food , but also lots of choice in different restaurants in Tulum.

Could have maybe used another toilet/shower

Free coffee was awesome, staff were lovely and helpful with everything we needed. Rooms were well air conditioned and pool was nice. Walking distance from main strip and cycling distance from beaches and cenotes.

    That we had to leave!

Loved this hostel - we stayed in a small, but spotlessly clean and modern private room with a bathroom that was just a few steps away. This wasn’t a problem! Lovely pool to cool down in and fresh clean water provided. We hired bikes from hostel and got around Tulum this way - so much better than overpriced taxis! Met some nice travelers at the hostel too over wine that can be purchased from the bar. Would come back in a heartbeat.

One of the most luxurious hostels I have ever stayed in. Felt like a little paradise, staff were super friendly and helpful and place was spotlessly clean. Kitchen facilities fairly decent and free coffee available. Stay here if you want a nice relaxing time.

Bags are not allowed in the rooms which is ok. But no area is considered for packing/unpacking which made it a bit hard to pack

The air in the room is a bit stuffy as you sleep in containers but there is an air conditioner as well as a ventilator so after a couple of minutes it’s absolutely okay.

Such a beautiful place and lovely people. We felt comfortable from the very beginning and even extended our stay for two more nights because we loved this pace so much. We had a super cozy private bed/bathroom but also the mixed dormitories looked super nice! It is a quiet place so no party hostel. The common outdoor kitchen is fully equipped, they just don’t provide oil or herbs for cooking but you can get it at a supermarket around the corner (Chedraui isn’t far either). It is well located near the main street and you can walk everywhere except to the beach zone and the cenotes but that’s normal since the city centre is not located at the beach. You can rent a bike, also the accommodation provide some for 150-200 MXN or you can rent a scooter. All in all we were super satisfied and we can highly recommend a stay at meteora! :))

It's super minor but they play music from quite early in the day, and whilst it starts off very spa like and tranquil, there is something about it that really penetrates. Also, in the day the chilled vibes continue with the music, of which the lyrics were rather somber - no fault of their, it's chill, English music.

The whole accommodation set up is a little oasis. Made from containers and a lot of polished concrete, they have created a wonderful urban jungle, close enough to the action, far enough from the noise. The rooms smell fabulous and are cleaned daily (I was in a private, no2). The internet was strong and consistent. My room had a fan and Aircon. The bathroom had a rain shower and shampoo. Towels were provided in the private room (can't speak for the dorms). The pool and sunbeds are basked in sunshine in the mornings to early afternoon (I visited in March). It takes about 20mins or less, depending on the size of your luggage to walk from the ADO. I managed to walk to the ruins too (about 40mins, there is a path along the highway that is also good for cyclists). There is a kitchen, although I can't comment on the facilities as I did not use it. The accommodation is well appointed for co-working with a covered space upstairs, away from the pool with plenty of power sockets. There's even a large TV to watch movies on! As other reviews have mentioned, the bathrooms linked to private rooms are separate, I was lucky as room 2's bathroom is next to the room. Note the doors slide so don't do as I did and panic on the street that you couldn't find the entrance, slide open to the cooled and sweet smelling reception and you'll be dandy!

Was hoping they would have a place to wash clothes. Wast a major inconvenience because there was a place by 5 minutes walk.

It was clean very attentive to cleanliness, great atmosphere, quite compared to other hostels which is why I chose this over the other ones. 5-10 minutes walk major shops and restaurants downtown. Here you can actually get some sleep, the garden is very nice and practical. I would stay here again

Lockers outside the room, was a bit of a hassle but manageable and overall not a big deal. At least there were no clothes and stuff lying all over the rooms.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. You had everything you need and everything was clean. The pool was great to hang out at and swim. Free coffee, bikes available and cleaning everyday.

The bathrooms for really humid and stuffy - some ventilation would be helpful! But not a dealbreaker.

Traveled with some friends to Tulum and we loved our stay at Meteora! The staff were so friendly and gave us recommendations and even helped us book some tours and transportation. The entire space (courtyard, kitchen, rooms, bathrooms) is cleaned every day. We had a private room that was well appointed and comfortable- we loved having the wall of windows looking into the courtyard. We also liked being off of the main tourist area, it kept things quiet.

We got a full blown lecture about the stay. I mean it’s nice to be shown around and everything but it got to the point where he explained how to shower. It smelled bad in the dorm bathroom because of the open trash baskets. We had to argue with the staff to put the AC to a bearable temperature. It was freezing cold in the dorm.

The pool was wonderful, tidy kitchen, it was very clean around the property. It is a wonderful location. Very stylish and unique with a good eye for details.
