The staff is good, but not so friendly (in the breakfast room they are so nice!). The shower is not so hot.

It's just 5 minute-walk from the Alameda Park and 10 minute-walk from Zocaro. Near from the Metrobus station, and the supermarket. The breakfast is good, even though I wanted some veggies.

The air conditioning was not working and the weather was a bit warm, so it was hot in the room.

The room was clean with all you need. The breakfast buffet was good, but options were limited. Attention in the restaurant was very nice.

Some rooms in the hotel have been renewed, would be great to have them all renewed. Probably that's their strategy for more accesible rooms, AND I ended up paying for one of the non-renewed (probably my bad), and it had a very 70's "vintage" feel. Though, as I said before, this was just enough for my stay. Like many others said, this hotel does not have air conditioning (not sure if this also happens for the renewed rooms), my room had a fan. Had some issues with my key, since the lock didn't recognize it since night 2, no matter how many times it was programmed or changed. The staff was very helpful with this problem, though it was finally solved when I went into my room for the last time for checkout.

The hotel's location is more than great. I chose it especifically for that reason and that paid out well. Staff was super friendly, the room was just enough. Nothing luxurious or extraordinary, just enough, a safe place to sleep at night and get ready for a whole day out.

The shower was beautifully designed but the flow was weak and it took five minutes for the water to get hot.

The hotel was well located for us, relatively close to the airport but still central The room had many power sockets for recharging and was kept very clean by the staff.

No A/C just a fan. Room is very dated. The staff was ok, not very friendly but did their job. We were three adults and they only gave us one room key. We asked for a second one and they said they only provided one per room which was not very functional.

Location was unbeatable, just steps from main city attractions (Bellas Artes, La Alameda, China Town, and the Museum of tolerance among others). The room was dated but very large.

The coffee, was too black for my taste.

The staff was very welcoming, efficient, and courteous. The room where I stayed was clean, cozy, spacious, well decorated. It comes with electric appliances, such as an iron table, dryer, standing fan, AC, landline, smart TV, room service, and a binder with all kinds of useful information. The bed was comfy, with clean bedding, and five pillows. The studio is well organized to get the job done, Wi-Fi on every floor. The bathroom was sanitized, with clean hand & body towels, and drinkable WATER was a fresh relief. In the hallway, you can find pictures of tourist attractions in Mexico City and a freezer to get some ice cubes for free, furniture outside the elevator & safety indications, a fire alarm linked to the Mexico Fire Department, emergency lights, and an emergency exit. They have a parking lot and security 24/7. Easily accessible to guests with special needs. For my breakfast, I went to the restaurant located at the mezzanine. I tried the menu, not to mention that they also have a buffet. The food was good, juice and fresh fruit, an order of bread toast with margarine and strawberry jam, the coffee not so good though. The waiter was friendly. The location of the hotel is excellent for visiting downtown CDMX main attractions on foot. There’s a subway station named Bellas Artes 7-minute walk from the hotel, tramways, bus lines, and cab services around the corner. Mall centers, artesanías, coffee shops, restaurants, bars, and more TBDiscored.

A clean, safe, mid-budget hotel in an excellent location.

The room was comfortable and clean but a bit old. The walls between rooms are not well soundproofed, so if you have noisy neighbors, it can be annoying. But all in all, most people are there to visit the city, not hang out in their room all day.

The hotel is very well located in the heart of downtown Mexico City. It is near to a number of attractions and also many shops and restaurants. You can easily explore on foot, but public transportation is easy to access too.

We got ripped off. While most of the staff was friendly and helpful, the management doesn't seem to be respectful of its clients. First, we had booked for a few days stay upon arrival in Mexico. Our booking was canceled less than a week prior to our scheduled arrival. Because the hotel seemed convenient, we chose to stick with Metropol and rebooked for a shorter stay (one night) and replanned our programme in Mexico with another stay at Metropol at the end of our trip in the country (this present booking). During our one-night stay, we understood that our first booking because they chose to reserve all rooms for some kind of convention. Then, when we came back at the end of our trip for the four-night stay that we had booked, the clerk at check-in told us without apologizing that the suite that we had booked was not available and offered instead a refurbished but much smaller room, with breakfast (and again, we had to convince the breakfast staff the next day), and wanted us to pay again, although payment had been made through Booking. And this is where we got ripped off: for a random date in the future, even with breakfast included, the superior double room that we got costs $96 per night, whereas the standard double suite without breakfast that we had booked costs $125 per night. The difference is significant. Also, noisy corridors.

Some of the rooms are fully refurbished, very clean and functional. The breakfast is fairly good and has a lot of buffet options (mexican and "international"). The immediate surroundings are not particularly picturesque but the hotel is very close to the fine arts museum (Palacio de Bellas Artes) and its adjacent park, and a short walk from the Zócalo and good restaurant options. Very central. Two different subway stations (different lines) within a 10 min walk.

I asked for a quiet room, and got one facing the interior Courtyard, which I very much appreciated. On the other hand, the room was not bright and spiffy at all. The hotel breakfast is full and complete, but expensive at 220 pesos.

The hotel has an excellent location less than a block and a half from the Alameda Park. And at the Northeast end of the park there is a metro station which can take one to the zocalo/cathedral/ National Palace. Around the corner from the hotel, is a really good food place that serves pancakes after 8:00 a.m. and the most delicious chicken vegetable rice soup I have ever tasted, along with good entrees, for an extremely reasonable 89 pesos.
