It’s really easy to get lost in the hotel grounds, signage or a map on arrival would have been great. Room lighting was very dim.

Absolutely mind blowing all round. If your looking for a hotel built in a totally natural environment then this is the place for you in Tulum. Staff were excellent, quality of the service and food exceptional.

The wind at the beach due to weather - not the hotel's fault... :(

The rooms, the design, the beach, the restaurants, the staff, the weekly event calendar (including yoga, breathwork, temazcal (for extra), workshops, fire ceremonies etc.) EVERYTHING was fantastic. I am in love and I want to go back! It was a dreamy, romantic, barefoot stay at Nomade which was the best experience I had in a hotel my whole life - not even kidding. Don't get caught up on the negative comments... I was very concerned after reading all the bad reviews but to our surprise everything was perfect and smooth. Upon check-in we asked to change our ocean front room to another one which had a day bed and the next day (because the first day they were all occupied) - done. However, our first room was actually way larger so bummer... anyway oh and when it gets windy it can be really loud to sleep there so be aware. Both the rooms had the best amenities though... I don't want to give spoilers you should just see for yourselves and get as excited as we did as you're being shown around your room haha! We loved the restaurants La Popular (thanks David for your service!) for both lunch & dinner, and Macondo was just perfect with its oriental vibes & live music in the evening and the food was yummy. The staff was really helpful as well, so thank you! And the "Journey Designers" which help with your wellness journey in the hotel are the sweetest, friendliest people. If I could.. I would keep Nomade Tulum secret for anyone, Nomade Tulum is beyond any hotels , services and normal facility and activities.. Nomade Tulum is a life stile ..

More towels for the day beds on the beach would’ve been good.

The front desk team and concierge team was AMAZING! They remembered everyone by their first name, texted on WhatsApp to make sure everyone was comfortable, and were very informative about places to go and food to take.

Front desk team wasn’t very coordinated and spoilt at times the total great experience. Overall i had rarely this type of bad customer interaction in other high end hotels. You can feel the snobbish attitude probably resulting from high season when the place must be overrun. This is a real pity because it would just cost a little more training and change of attitude to keep the whole experience on a high level. Unfortunately tulum seems to have developed into a big rip off place. If you need to take a taxis just on the beachroad, the local taxi mafia is asking 40 usd…. For a 3 min / 2 km drive… in offseason…. If you are lucky they go down a little. Worst experience happened when booking a small rental car for 1,5 days by the hotel concierge. Being ripped off 325.- usd for 1,5 days, tulum - cancun airport via alamo.

I didn't like the concierge that was alloted to me. I asked her to make reservations and all I heard was "I'm running out of battery", "this place takes too long to answer". I just gave up and made the reservations myself over Google Maps, I don't understand what the big problem was. My friend who recommended this hotel used the concierge for everything, so.... I'm not sure what happened to this concierge who was assigned to me. 0/10

I absolutely loved the facilities at the beach. Real beds, great service, in front of an ocean that seems like you died and went to heaven. The restaurant La Polular is the perfect place to eat clean and delicious food, and they provide live music every day at 2pm. I listened to local music and live eletronic music of different styles and absolutely loved it. 10/10 I stayed at the deluxe tent and it was aaaaamazing. Air conditioning actually works in spite of being a tent with screens, I don't know how they were able to achieve this, but I appreciate it. The outdoor bathroom was a bit a hassle when it comes to using the toilet and bugs come right at us (I'm allergic and I basically had to bathe myself in bug repellent all the time, not just for this. But if you don't like this, maybe an inside bathroom is better for you). Nonetheless, showering on the outside was an special experience, I absolutely loved it. The sheets embrace you on your sleep, the bed is very comfortable, the room is beautifully decorated. The only thing I missed was a drawer cabinet, the shelves available were not practical to unpack. 9.5/10 The amenities are varied and I didn't take part in any wellness event, so I can't really say if they were good. What I can tell you is that a friend of mine had recommended this hotel for us and she did use these facilities and this was one of the reasons why she liked this hotel in particular. Beatiful hotel as a whole, they are nestled within the nature and it feels great walking among trees and sand corridors, it does create a great getaway ambience. It has everything: the real nature and pure luxury very well combined. 10/10 Now, about the parties. Tulum as a whole has an eletronic music season between December and January (I went from Jan 10-16) and parties happen everyday during sunset hours and during the night.

We were encourage to go off property and try some place that were all about the money and not the experience. I would recommend to avoid any place with Min spend.. , Hotel had a special event that night and was not recommend to stay on property. Auto light that keep going on in-front of our door and not go off sometimes for a while, should be changed we report it and hope they will fix it. as you don't want bugs or mood to keep changing on the amazing patio.. Could only get Ice after room service closed, recommend to have basic available like fresh limes for late night tequila or your sick some things to help. Alll was locked up

Place is amazing if you want to get away and relax and love the beach this is the place, Very clean beach and property, Our room was great better then expected, our outdoor area wow! We did not use the plug pool as it was cool at night. The sound of the waves were great. Jungle hotel all outdoors. They Provided all natural Bug spray and Sun tan lotion at the pool , most places would try to charge you, this was nice tough. . Place is amazing.. They have a lot to offer if alone and I was on a date and they made it special.. Sushi Restaurant was perfect , try it if you love Sushi.. great experience and worth the cost. We will go again and stay in the same room.

It is simply a fantastic place and the staff makes it even better. We had our personal concierge (Ali), who helped us with everything. Cleaning is always when you are out, I don't know how they did it, but the room was cleaned/prepared 3 times per day and we never saw anyone. Food is great, but also try the restaurant Philosophy - just next door (recommended by the concierge), the dinner there was simply amazing.

The beach is the nicest in tulum. The food was delicious. The settin in the jungle is gorgeous. And the staff caters to your every whim. They also have amazing daily events that will keep you busy. It's the best place to stay in Tulum.

The staff was amazing and so incredibly hospitable. They made our 1 year anniversary so special. Our concierge was the best — delightful and anticipated every need. We love this property and all of the wellness amenities, decor, ambience — it truly made us feel comfortable and on another level of vacation. We love Tulum and Nomade is the #1 reason.
