Unfortunately noisy room neighbors and dogs barking.

We loved the warmth of the hosts and the loveliness of the place. Beds were comfy and the rooms spacious. They were really helpful and caring as I was ill. They can take you around for a fee if you have no cars. Food was great!

Really charming, rustic paradise. We spent 2 nights at the end of our trip and did not leave the place - just chilled by the pool and ate and had the best Margaritas and a cheeky pina colada. Thank you all so much for looking after us and your kindness and spirit! Ps. They also have a good collection of stones, crystals and local artefacts.

Not quite enough sunbeds for guests when the hotel is full.

A beautifully considered oasis on the edge of the jungle. We particularly appreciated Luis’s help during our stay. He went out of his way to make sure we enjoyed everything Coba had to offer.

Little tough to find! Recommend to others to read a description of the location with directions. Using map on phone wasn’t terribly accurate.

This little inn was the highlight of our trip to the Yucatan. The owners and staff were so hospitable & engaging, appearing as if by magic to see if we needed anything. Our room was lovely with plenty of fans and a good mosquito net (which if you’ve been to the Yucatan you’ll know is important.) The inn is built in traditional palapa style, meaning without solid walls, so you get a real feeling of the jungle when you’re there, with bird sounds, insects chirping, and sounds from the distant churches if they are having services. You will have a much more immersive experience here than at a traditional hotel if you allow yourself to go with the flow. Highly recommend.

It is tricky to find out information about the bus in advance. You need to go to the ADO station in either Tulum or Playa del Carmen and you csn book a ticket there. There isn't any information about timetables or bus routes online. It is also tricky to get the bus back from Cobá but Hector can drive you to the main road to get a colectivo or to Tulum.

Communication prior to our trip was excellent. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Hector collected us from the bus and was present throughout our stay, always checking we had what we needed. The hotel is small with a family feel and extremely well thought out. There is everything you need. Spotless, comfortable and within walking distance to the ruins. Hector took us to a cenote one afternoon which was very close and stunning. Loved every minute of our stay and didn't want to leave.

Our stay here was the highlight of our whole Mexico trip! The welcome from the host was nothing short of exceptional. There was seriously a lot of thought and love put into the place in terms of atmosphere and decoration. The pool area was an ideal place to relax and the cocktails were wonderful. I( just wish we could have stayed longer!

Staff was wonderful and helpful. Alfredo's english is very good. The place is very nicely done. Beautiful stone and wood pieces. Small and cozy. Very relaxing or romantic. Cooked us a very nice breakfast. Highly, highly recommended.

We had a little trouble finding the hotel, as new construction blocked the rustic hotel , and the sign is partially worn away. But we finally listened to Siri and found the hotel.

Breakfast was great, as was dinner. The staff and owners made a big fuss over us and made us feel at home. The ambiance was very appealing.

The best hotel in the Yucatan Peninsula. We loved the hosts, Hector and his brother. They are very friendly and lovely people. The hotel is very unique, next to the jungle, with exotic rooms. Unfortunately we stayed for just 1 night, we hope to come back soon!

Not a thing— I wanted to move in. Because of how the hotel is built: very open, you will sometimes hear music coming from town or other guests walking by, but that didn’t bother me at all.

Hector and Alfredo provided the most amazing oasis in Coba. I have never felt so pampered in my life and hated to leave. The property is beautiful with gorgeous plants and art everywhere. They will also cook you three meals a day—just tell them what you want—for a very reasonable price. The WiFi is strong, the bed comfortable, and my room was huge with a lovely little settee and hammock added as well. Their recommendations on things to do in the area is top notch. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Location a little remote, but perfect for getting away, and for our purposes (Coba and Punta Laguna); liked the staff immensely; our bed was great; very good night's sleep. Food was fine, not exceptional. It was the kindness, interest, personablness of the staff that were most striking, and the lovely rustic casual facility.

This is the most unique/welcoming/beautiful boutique hotel. Hector, Alfredo & Gustavo made us feel instantly at home and even gave us lifts when we arrived & left. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated and feels like a little slice of paradise in the jungle. We really hope to come back when we next visit Mexico.

We did not mind, but some may not like that your private bathroom is separate and down a flight of spiral stairs from your room. This could be troublesome if you expect to get up in the middle of the night. I didn’t mind the chance to check out the night sky. The stairs were well lit.

We did not like this stay; we Loved it! The staff here is genuine and go out of their way to make guests comfortable. It’s a unique, character filled property in a quiet jungle town where the old Mayan world is very close to the surface. The pool is refreshing after a day exploring the nearby (walking distance) ruins of Cobá. This hotel is a bit unorthodox but that’s its charm. It’s youthful, romantic and Absolutely wonderful ! We would make this a destination for sure and hope to return. Plenty to do and see.

    Loved everything!

What a magical oasis this amazing family has created! It was the most peaceful stay to come to after our adventures visiting the ruins, cenotes, and Punta Laguna. The warmth, attention, and love made our stay that much more special! Loved this little peace of enchantment and beautiful people! And can’t forget, their kitty Tragon gave us extra love! He even slept in our bed one night!
