Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI was a bit shocked at our food bill at check out. We only had one dinner first evening we were there with drinks, breakfast next day and one more dinner with drinks last evening. Ourt bill was over $400 and I questioned the charges but didnt feel like arguing or bickering about the bill so I just paid it on top of what we tipped. Food and drinks were definitely expensive...
loved the property, as others stated "hidden gem", great location right on the beach, nice rooms, compfy beds, unique spot for sure.

United KingdomThere is no privacy. The curtains didn't close and had to have all shutters closed because my room was facing the kitchen and construction works. Sunday was terrible as the hotel operates as a beach club. There must have been 50 people directly outside my room, with direct view to my bed. It was really loud, crowded and invasive. Saturday was a similar experience. The service was terrible when the beach club got full and I didn't get my food or drinks. I would avoid going during the weekend if staying at the casitas. It is not enjoyable at all. No warm water in shower. The room got cleaned in the evening - as I was trying to have a shower and get ready for dinner. Could be an amazing place if they looked after the privacy/guest experience. Perhaps separate beach club areas from private for guests areas.
The location is really good. The food is really good too. The staff are fantastic, really friendly. The little casita I had was modern, cozy and well designed. It is a really nice place. Overall I had a good experience once the weekend was over. I would come back, just not during a weekend.

United StatesLoved the room and staff but be prepared to pay a lot and get an average dinner. Breakfast was great. $271 for 2 days of meals. The rooms are rustic but we wanted that. $721 for two nights kind of pricy. Also you’re isolated so no other places to eat. Can’t eat anywhere else unless you drive into Cancun city. Loved the room and staff. Would return but only for a few days.
Incredible view from casita right off the ocean.

United StatesThe beach is nice, but not very deep. Just an FYI.
This is a small, super cute place, with only 10 rooms and 5 cabanas. The ocean facing rooms (only 3) are truly wonderful. That's what I would highly recommend if you stay there. The 5 cabanas are also wonderful, but be aware that they don't have air conditioning and no curtain. It's lovely, but know what to expect. From the top floor bedroom, you have a complete bay window overlooking the ocean. The service was excellent and very friendly. Robert at the front desk was exceptional. Breakfast was served quickly (if you wanted it that way).

UkraineWhile the hotel and location are great, the service was horrible. You'd have to wait 30 - 50 minutes (8.30 -> 9.20) for your breakfast served to you. We were often left hungry, as the famous avocado toast is literally one thin slice of bread cut in half. Thus, we decided to cook our own meals and only take advantage of the included breakfast. Upon checkout, we were asked to pay 70 MXN in tips per each included breakfast. The hotel would be better as a simple AirB&B room.
Secluded location far away from noisy hotels. We've enjoyed both swimming in the ocean at the beach and cooling off in our private pool. The kitchen cooking set was quite handy, considering that there's only a single restaurant with long waiting times. It was quiet at night in our garden facing room. Your fridge beers and cokes are refilled upon each cleaning.

United StatesWe were charged over 4000 pesos in our room bill and our friends were charged for breakfast, which was supposed to be free. They didn’t catch the mistake so I would recommend checking every receipt that they enter to make sure that this is something you should be paying for. Their system is not great so most likely there will be mistakes
The property is gorgeous. It’s a small boutique hotel, there’s not that many people which we liked, and the food at the restaurant was great and also And also not overpriced. Perfect little getaway

MexicoThe menu is incredibly limited as is and still they constantly have missing ingredients, which limit your options even more. If you stay for more than 3-4 days you’re definitely going to get tired of eating there which is relevant considering there are absolutely no other eating options around. Additionally, the restaurante service is very slow. On a busy weekend you can find yourself waiting 50 mins for your food; on a weekday with maybe one other table occupied, you’ll wait around 30 mins. The coffee included with breakfast is terrible, but the coffee pods for the machine in each room is fine. The towels are worn down and abrasive, which doesn’t feel great on sunburned skin.
It’s location is absolutely amazing if you want a remote beach to rest and do nothing else. The beach is beautiful with more than enough to take a long walk either way. The ocean is shallow and so amazing and the area in general is really quiet and relaxing. The staff is very kind and go out of their way to make your stay nice. The food is good and isn’t overpriced considering the area.

MexicoThe team mentioned that the AC was not working during the day (only working from 5pm to 10am) even though it was extremely hot outside and inside. On the bright side, on my second day there it worked most of the day. The pool seemed to be a little bit dirty. Also The road to get there was kind of confusing and it wasn’t on a very nice condition.
The staff were super friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Beds are super comfortable. Tv working fine, everything (except the private pool) was very clean, I loved the swing with the hotel’s name sign.

United StatesPerhaps, they need to add more options to the menu. There’s literarily nothing around the property, which makes one to want to eat at the hotel all the time. That said, the menu has just few options for breakfast and lunch, not to mention dinner. suggest to improve menu asap.

I did a weekend trip to get away thinking was gonna be Cheap but not. Hotel is beautiful but cost me $60 to go 10miles to eat. Airport $130 each way. 3 hours took to get there. At hotel 2 days eating 1 dinner 2 lunch 5 beers cost $300 plus tip. Pricey for a 3rd world country hotel.hotel after taxes ended up been $520. 2 nights. Very far no easy access to Uber or taxi. Food good but small menu. Breakfast says 8 am but literally I didn’t get coffee until almost 9.

United Statesthe lunch and dinner service was not very good when you could be eating amazing local food for so much cheaper. We did it once because we wanted to pay for the convenience but the food was not anything to write home about and the portion was rather small. and yes, you are going to have to wait an hour for your meals most likely - but, you’re sitting out on the beach so it’s fine! I
if you’re looking for a place away from the crowds, that’s minimalist and on a beautiful beach, this is it! the soft white sand, lovely water, every room has a plunge pool, the amazing views and peace of the place makes it prime relaxing. the bed was comfortable and you have ac during the night to cool down. shower pressure was good and the included breakfast was nice - especially if you like chilaquiles or huevos rancheros. we had a huge shaded porch and then a rooftop porch with a plunge pool, loungers, and a cushion. you could never leave your rooms if that’s what you’re looking for! you really should rent a car if you’re staying at this place, to go into town and get some good dinner. the cleaning service was great.
