The noise from the neighbouring bar was really disturbing. I hardly slept all night and wasn’t even on the street facing side of the hotel.

Better than the pictures! Great value for money. Very helpful staff. Easy to find parking on the street. Comfortable bed.

Don't stay there if you don't like noise when you're trying to sleep- the first night was spent in room no 1 on the ground floor across the street from two bars which are so loud that it is impossible to sleep even with earplugs - they are open every night and until 2/3am - I am aware it isn't the hotels fault but the noise level is awful! I changed to a room a little away from the front and two floors up and while the noise was clearly audible at night there too, it was possible to sleep well with earplugs so I was happier

The rooms are great and well equipped and everything was kept clean and neat - the staff were friendly and helpful, the place looks great and the pool was great! I used it and the loungers every day with joy!

However, the hotel is located in front of a discotheque opened every days of the week to 2:30 am. SO, you have to party or wear ear plugs.

All services perfects and a lot of space in our bedroom. Staff super nice and location strategic if you want to be in the hearth of Playa Del Carmen.

As most reviews mention, quite noisy since there is a club right in front, but if you have a heavy sleep it's not a problem.

The only downside isn’t really the fault of the property, which is the noise late at night. Any hotel or condo in that area is going to have the same issue with nearby clubs and 5th Ave. It comes with being close to the activity. Hopefully they can find ways to better soundproof the rooms to help.

The hotel was very well located by 5th Ave, groceries, and everything you need. We appreciated the furnished kitchen as well as having a basic breakfast (fruit, pastries, coffee and tea) provided to start the day. Having two bathrooms was a plus and we found the beds comfortable.

As others have said, it was loud, especially because we faced the street. The clubs play music til about 2 am and construction starts in the morning at about 8 am. We didn’t mind the music all that much but we’re from a large loud city and I did use earplugs (my husband did not). We’re also night owls. I rather enjoyed the lively vibe from the music overflow. It brought the party to me when I was too tired to actually BE out. The construction noise was annoying but I should have been up at 9 am anyway. However, this is not the place for you if you need silence after 9 pm.

Great location, impeccably clean with beautifully minimalistic decor. Coolers of purified water are available. Our room had a kitchenette with sink, microwave, and good sized mini fridge as well as a balcony. Excellent shower with good water pressure and plentiful hot water.

It's very close to some clubs and the music can get very loud until 2 in the morning.

The Provenza club across the street. I booked this room at Quinta Margarita knowing that it was going to be loud. And it was VERY loud. I tolerated it and overall I managed to sleep ok (with ear plugs of course). I made the decision to book this hotel because the club's activities is not the hotel's doing. It's unfortunate that the club was able to set up shop at this location but regardless, I have no regrets staying at Quinta Margarita.

I had room #6 which was very spacious. A loft for the bed and bathroom, and main level accommodating another bathroom, kitchen and seating area. Included a balcony overlooking Calle 32 and the surrounding area. Staff were very friendly, respected my privacy and the young cleaning lady was awesome! I appreciated the locked gate to enter the premises. Gave me a sense of security knowing that you needed a key to enter and they had security stationed at the front entrance after 10 pm. The interior court yard and it's wall mural is a wonderful touch to this property!

I’ve never had such a poor breakfast in a hotel. Breakfast is served on a table by the entrance with only few croissants, 1 type of bread, 3 different types of marmelade. Apples and oranges. No cheese, no eggs, no warm option, no yoghurt, no cornflakes, no cut up fruit, nothing Mexican,….. just bread. I can’t believe we paid extra for a room with breakfast. Utterly disappointing. You might as well as have breakfast outside. Also on the noisy side of the street until 2:00 am with strong bass.

Everything was great. Good value for money. Right off 5th Avenue. 3 minutes walk to the beach. Security day and night. Clean and very spacious rooms. Comfortable beds and overall great stay.

Very unfortunate about the noise from the neighboring nightclub, we used earplugs but our room was right at the front of the building so it was challenging.

Our stay at Quinta Margarita was excellent. Our room was so comfortable for our stay over the Christmas. The team were so helpful during our stay, including fulfilling my request for some Christmas decor (thank you so much!!) The rooftop pool is a nice place to chill. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Playa del Carmen,

Sadly there are two bars close to the hotel than ande very noisy, but the staff were kind with us and change our room to a place were the noise was better

It was load from the road construction during the day and from the clubs on the opposite side of the street in the night. We were warned about this. We were tired after all our activities and did no have trouble to fall a sleep but it was inconvenient that it was always load.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The localization was great as it was close to the 5th avenue and to the beach. The bus station and ferry was in walking distance. The room was clean. The water under the shower had very good pressure. There was microwave, coffee machine and fridge in the room. We also had a balcony. The breakfast was good. The roof facilitated were very nice.

Disturbed sleep due to the unbelievably high volume of the music coming from the pub in front of the hotel! It snakes the walls up! Moreover the breakfast is very limited, only a self service buffet with a few items (bread, a few bakery items, coffe, few bananas and apples) and there is no place where you can sit and consume your breakfast if not in your room.

It’s a cute well maintained hotel, rooms are modern, very spacious and clean. There is a fridge and plenty of amenities in the room. The staff is kind. The problem is that you really can’t get sleep in this hotel due to the incredibly loud music coming from a bar right in front. The bass is soo loud that even makes the bed shake. No complaints would convince them to lower the volume and on weekends it goes on and on until the morning. It’s a pity because the hotel is nice.

Evenings are super noisy, with no sound isolation as there are 2 bars across the street that can get super loud. If you are coming to Playa to party you will be fine but for people looking to relax and sleep well, you might consider this. Breakfast was rather limited but ok for the price.

It's a fantastic location, within walking distance to everything in Playa—spacious rooms, friendly staff, and really clean apartments that are maintained every day. The aircon worked just great.
