I had two rooms and both were not really clean. the first room was because I was part of a group and the second room I got myself as an extension. they didn’t let me stay in the initial I had. both rooms had hair in the bathroom, second room did not have hairdryer. the first room was close to the front desk and there was a lot of noise and it felt like there was no door at all!

very noisy not a 4 star hotel reservation issues that were handled poorly by management basically was told by one manager after talking with booking.com agent that problem was fixed only to have different manager next day have no info on booking fix. then charge me for 2 rooms only needed 1.

To us we really enjoy our stay at the Sta Cruz Hotel. We enjoy our stay for their rooms were clean and our room was cool. Mostly like the convenience of the transportation close to us We will highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

I got a dirty room after I checked in. When addressed they made me wait in the hallway untill one of the rooms was cleaned properly. The new clean room didn't have any towels. Not really taken care off in a good way. Outdated interior which could use a refreshment. Not a nice smell in the bathroom.

Nice location, walking distance to the beach and close to other beaches. Super friendly staff in the restaurant. The pool area is nice to hang out.

Very overprized only one key for room we were 2 to get other key we needed to pay fee extra for everything else were added fees very disorganized with check in even with reservation months before getting there will not go there again

Very noisy. The hotel is big and from the room I could hear people in the hallway late in the evening and early morning. The mattresses were very soft and not comfortable.

The rooms are big. The hotel is 7 min walking from the beach.

We were extremely disappointed that the pool was put out of commission for three days with no notice at all. Not impressed.

Luis and Daniel in the restaurant were beyond great! The rest of the staff were also good. Luisa who cleaned our room was very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very worth the value.

The music by the pool was often too loud.

We have stayed here numerous times. The place is spacious and clean, with a good sized pool, with lots of loungers and a bar/restaurant. We enjoyed lounging by the pool most days. Very helpful and friendly front desk, speaking okay English. And mainly, it is a very short walk to Santa Cruz Beach and a variety of restaurants. Wifi is best by the pool.

The Booking.com listing implied that breakfast was included. It was not.

Service was very slow. The pizza we ordered was not what we ordered (pepperoni and mushroom). Half a slice was eaten. We brought the pizza down and asked where the pepperoni was and they just added pepperoni and recooked it. Not edible. The shower and towels are very old. Rust in the shower. We were put in a room next to a band playing next door. No sleep. It seems they need more staff as our air conditioning didn’t work and the front desk clerk was sent up to fix it.

The pool was the best part of our stay and a good hot shower.

The only thing I can say I didn't like is that the pool needs a little touch-up. A few tiles missing, minor things. Overall the place is great.

there was nothing that I did not like… If something was not there, and you asked for it, it was provided immediately!

most of the staff speak English, and they’re all have translation apps, so communication was excellent, but more important than that. They were very very friendly and very very helpful… Anything you needed they provided. It has a beautiful pool 24 hour security. It was very very safe and very very clean. It was also centrally located in Huatulco. it is very close to a bunch of small restaurants and three banks! The food at Hotel Santa Cruz was some of the best Mexican food I have ever eaten!
