The most beautiful, immaculate hotel, every inch of this place has been crafted with thoughtful detail. Hundreds of different colourful flowers and plants, water features, stone decorations… it is truly stunning! We’ve had a wonderful stay, the room is spacious, comfy and clean with great wifi and a good shower. The pool is heaven on a warm day and they make the best pina coladas I think I’ve ever had! The staff are lovely and friendly, they have been really helpful with our needs and questions. They also speak perfect English which is super handy. They recommended a great trip to see the bioluminescence which was like nothing wed experienced before… wow.

Beautiful hotel, really well looked after. It is so serene and the outside space is like paradise. Beautiful clean pool and a good size, lots of comfy sunbeds. The staff are incredibly helpful especially Louis, he made sure we were really well looked after. Spacious, clean, comfy rooms. Great design, and with everything you need. Good location, quiet but close to shops and the beach. We would definitely go back.

The room was absolutely fabulous, large and with an excellent deck for lounging. It was decorated nicely with fresh flowers and plants. The pictures on Booking don't do the place justice. It is much more beautiful in real life. Ask for Room #9

When we arrived, we realised that I had booked the only room without aircon but the hotel let us upgrade to the best room in the hotel. It was amazing with it's own plunge pool, 2 balconies & an outside kitchen. The pool area was lovely & the gardens were amazing. It was paradise! ALL of the staff & owners were so friendly & helpful. Could not fault it!

We loved the garden and pool. The junior suite was spacious and had everything you need including a large fridge freezer and plenty of drinking water. We liked the café and their breakfast.

Nothing, if you want to party this is not the place. It has a super relaxed and tranquil vibe.

The first night I was invited to a dinner at the property where one of the bartenders had made an African Dish. The treated me like family. I was blown away by their hospitality. Never in my life had I felt so welcome in a hotel. The hospitality continued through the entire week stay. The owners were always present on the property and the workers were always wanting to help. They helped call taxis, give and make reservations for tours. The cleaning staff was excellent and super friendly . You could tell the owners treated all their employees like family and therefore every worker treated all of the guests in this same manner. The Mong suite I had was much better than the pictures. They are very attentive to all the details and design of the property. The plants at the property stew extensive and well cared for by the family and friends Jo owns the hotel. The property has a very lush landscape. The property is very close to great restaurants yet far enough away so that it is very quiet. I never heard any noises or sounds from neighbors. The hotel reminds me of a hotel where people go and stay to live. It is that special.

This property is exceptional. Clean, beautiful and so well thought out. The gardens are a true oasis. The staff are beautifully discreet but attentive when required. Our room had a beautiful sea view and everything was spotlessly clean. Can’t recommend highly enough

The shower needs either a curtain or glass. The bedroom needs more light, and the staff, while responsive when needed, seemed lackadaisical and were not picking up after guests by the pool, or offering people drinks, or smiling in general.

We stayed three nights at Suites La Hacienda. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a fresh juice and conducted an efficient check-in. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The pool clean and inviting. Once we were led to our room, I realized that we were given a room that has not been updated/remodeled like many of the rooms at the hotel. Our room, while large, had some issues. The main issue is that the shower is completely open (no curtain or glass) so water inundated the entire bathroom after the first shower. I immediately requested towels to soak up the water and the staff did not seem surprised by this issue. Another issue we faced was the lack of light in the bedroom at night. I will say that the bed was enormous and comfortable and except for the last night when the AC failed, we rested well.

A short walk from the Main Street and a little further to Carizalillo beach. We had a nice balcony. Coffee maker and small fridge in the room was handy.

Honestly an 11 out of 10. Nothing could have been better…

This place is fantastic. It is an Oasis - truly… lush greenery, palm trees, flowering trees. It is not a fancy hotel like the Hyatt, it is a genuine local family run hotel where you feel you have lucked into the most special place. In a super safe neighbourhood. 5 minutes walk to the strip with local restaurants and shops, and another 5 minutes to a breathtaking view as you walk down to a well kept, safe to swim family Beach - even beginner surf lessons…. And a short walk to spectacular swim sets every night

Felt a bit like a prisoner in our ground floor room. Provides coffee but no milk, you have to ask for it & they don’t like giving it away. Should include breakfast at the price. Shower head needs replacing.

Best hotel we stayed in 4 weeks of our Mexico travel. Even got a free of charge upgrade to a superior room. Very nice pool and beautiful garden. Conveniently near to the airport. Its not in the tourist center - which is positive for us. It was more a residential neighborhood but only 2 blocks from a street with some nice restaurants and a great beach.

The pool side is sometimes crowded either too few lounge chairs. Savvy guests save their chairs first thing in the morning and they are thus unavailable to newer guests. Cala carte dining options for breakfast and snacks would be a nice addition.

This property is beautifully designed. It is both Mexican and French isn style and sensibility. All design elements from landscaping to lighting if to room interiors are well executed.
