Forced to do Sales Pitch!

Great Hotel, beautiful facility. Breakfast was OK. Did not like the set up for the sales pitch to buy in, but we did receive a very nice gift for going to it. Entertainment was great!! Appreciated the seagrass removal!

There are class A and class B guests, depending on the package they bought. I only had breakfast included, and I could see the difference in they way they treated all-inclusive guests. Breakfast is not a buffet, and service can be a bit slow and portions small. I could only order 2 things off the menu. It was my birthday, and I communicated it before my arrival and at check-in. They never did anything about it. It's only when I told restaurant staff on the day that they were great about it and surprised me with a little celebration, which was actually super nice.

Fantastic hotel with spacious new bedrooms anc walking distance from the village. I felt safe and I loved walking on the beach. The hotel staff is so helpful and friendly.

Constant sales pitches from the staff trying to get you to book the timeshare “presentation” the alcoholic drinks taste watered down and the food in the RoMarley restaurant and the rooftop bar wasn’t great.

Room was nice , pool was nice , nice location quick walk to town but ask for bikes they will give you them for free.

The location was perfect and the staff were amazing! Especially Angel and Heriberto who anticipated our every need and made our trip 10 times better with their informed recommendations!

For the price, breakfast could have been better quality and more variation. We stayed three nights, for this it was fine. But on the third morning I was struggling to choose what to eat. The rooms had small kitchens, but there were no pans/pots, glasses or cutlery so you basically could not use them.

The rooms were big, the beachfront was really nice and the staff were extremely friendly! We really appreciated this.

It poured rain and was very windy. Red flags not he beach prevented everyone from swimming and lounging. Very little of the hotel was sheltered from the rain and wind. So you had to stay in your room.

Not enough sun beds on beach and drinks a bit expensive Disappointed we booked a junior suite with kitchen and then the kitchen contained no utensils, plates anything unless we paid extra for that facility. What is the point in having a kitchen

Great location, great view from our room and a great setting to walk or just chill. We had a junior suite which gave us lots of room and a kitchen which we couldn’t use completely. Staff very friendly and left you alone if you showed no interest in buying anything.

I had booked a partial oceanfront view and got a room tucked into a dark corner, with mainly a view to a wall and only a glimpse of the ocean when standing right by the edge of the balcony. Apparently I had pretty much the worst room in the hotel, on the ground floor, and all rooms above ground floor have a view. All balconies are not private, the partitions are see-through.

Lovely pools, great beach and rooftop bar, comfortable beds, nice beach which was kept clean of seaweed by the staff. Quiet place, very helpful staff. Free bicycles to borrow. Strong wifi.

When you arrive, you are approached by epic travelers, which is a pressured sales job to buy membership to other hotels they are associated with. they arrange a meeting with you which takes about two hours and then pressure you to spend $50,000. We had no idea what it was about, and it was the start of our trip, which made it uncomfortable and upsetting . It felt sleazy, and it was hard to trust the staff after that terrible experience . The hotel itself is gorgeous, the front desk, staff and servers are lovely. I highly suggest when epic travelers approach to you you just say no, and walk away and not get pulled in. Even though the hotel was great, we saw these people all week while we were at the hotel, and it was so upsetting to me. We probably would not go back.

It’s a beautiful property in a lovely town. Our room was gorgeous with a few of the ocean and a double bathtub on the balcony.

The constant irritation of timeshare salesmen. First we had Sergio then we had Tony and then yet another one. I don’t want to be dogged by these people whilst trying to enjoy my holiday.

The food in the onsite restaurants could have been a little better.

The staff and facility were fantastic! Pools and beach was great and proximity to town was perfect. The rooms were spacious and well equipped, we even had a jacuzzi tub on the deck!

The AC was difficult to figure out and you cannot move where it hits which is right on the bed. So if you have it on, you’ll have “wind” on you all night. Staff at front desk were kind but felt overwhelmed most times. Getting hold of them by phone can be difficult. Breakfast and restaurant food & cocktails are not worth it at all but there nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast food and coffee were always cold upon arrival.

1. Wristbands - HATE THEM. 2. Halls are musty need better air circulation in halls. 3. Elevator is possibly the slowest in the world.

Loved virtually everything. Rooftop restaurant was perfect, menu perfect, Beach House Menu, Cabaña, Pool, Beach chairs staff… all wonderful. Really, we are struggling to find anything significant to complain about. As a whole it was great.

The hallways could use a little extra decoration and ambiance. Unfortunately, it was windy and cool so we could not enjoy the pool, beach chairs or ocean. There was still some seaweed also they tried to remove it. The food and drink at the rooftop restaurant were not great for the price. The tub on the balcony was leaking, but got eventually fixed. We were not interested in the sales pitch.

The newly built hotel and surrounding are beautiful, especially the rooms, great tub on the balcony. The breakfast was delicious, the staff very friendly and helpful. The food at the Italian restaurant was very good. We enjoyed the walk to the village.

Food (we had dinner and breakfast at the Romarley, the more casual of the two restaurants there) was just ok, nothing to write home about.

Spacious rooms/suites on a quiet corner of Puerto Morelos’ beach. Friendly welcome & staff, nice beach front and pools by hotel and on the roof.

There were never enough towels for the beach. The bars are closing too early, so it is not possible to enjoy drinks until late neither by the seaside nor the rooftop resto/bar, which closed @ 19:00

The room was very comfortable and clean. The food was excellent and the gym was well equipped.

The key box to open our door broke and we were locked out of unit for two hours and then had to wait longer as they had to replace the full unit. Thankfully it didn’t happen the morning we were leaving as we would have missed our flight. The staff were nice about it but not one apologized for the inconvenience or offered to better our experience, even when I asked if there was anything they could do (a complimentary drink at the bar would have gone a long way!). We felt quite disappointed by that experience. They try to pitch you on timeshare programs, which is annoying. We got a good deal for our stay through booking.com so I feel we received the value, but it’s absolutely not worth full price.

Nice views, nice unit, on the beach but quite busy. Complimentary morning yoga on the roof plus other activities. Free breakfast, ordered off the menu one day which was great, but other days were buffet which wasn’t very good.
