We would have preferred to be on a higher floor. The room we had was open to a larger public space. Although we were able to see the ocean, being higher up would have been our preference

The staff were very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Very helpful in finding us the right excursions we wanted to go on and the waitstaff in the restaurant were very friendly. The pool overlooking the ocean was also superb.

- extremely bizarre impression of the restaurant. We went there the first morning whilst waiting for our check-in time, and everyone working there looked borderline angry or depressed. We were smiling at them, polite and thanking the staff often, but would barely get a look or grunt from them in return. When paying, they double charged our card and had a rather sarcastic attitude, left a very sour taste for a couple of hours (though the payment was subsequently reimbursed) - no supermarket nearby and strange rule written in the room about not being allowed to bring any food or drink into the room… felt like trying to force guests to eat at the restaurant, which we avoided like the plague after that initial incident - advertised as 4-star hotel on Booking highly doubt this, on Google it is classed as 2-star and no breakfast included for that pricepoint

- nice view of the ocean from private balcony - near El Arrocito beach from where we watched the sunrise on two mornings, very beautiful! - air conditioning works great - big and comfortable beds - good cleaning and extra water bottles brought - hot water and OK water pressure (much better than we otherwise experienced in Mexico) - pool area was well maintained and enjoyable for a swim - front desk personnel, two men and two women we interacted with over the course of the stay, very kind and welcoming and patiently let us exercise our Spanish! - when checking out, front desk lady called a taxi for us which arrived fast - Kevin, employee who showed us our room, also very friendly

The wifi could be iffy, A non pysically mobile person would struggle with the stairs but I loved the variety of space

The facilities and the location are excellent although one needs a taxi or car to go beyond the local beach which was excellent swimming. The pools both are very clean and the photos tell the true story, well kept up. The closet beach is Arrocito which is two minute walk, great safe swimming for all.

Noisy neighbor one Friday night that hotel security had to quiet (successfully).

There wasn't a good walking beach close by. The arrocitto beach is broken shells rather than soft sand... Apparently we were supposed to book a shuttle at time of reserving but there was no option for that on booking.com...if you change your mind about breakfast inclusion when you arrive (we had wanted to see what the menu was like first) you cannot opt in afterwards as you can at other hotels.....there were many mini power outages

Loved the stunning view of the ocean! Saw multiple pods of whales from our room and the restaurant. The food and price at the restaurant was amazing, as well as the staff. We absolutely loved our stay here and would come back again

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. We had such a relaxing stay. The restaurant has a nice menu with good food, generous portions and excellent service. I would have liked to have a mini-fridge in our room but it was still a great stay.

I didn’t like that the property had no elevator. There employee had to bring all the luggage up. Plenty of exercise up and down. Anywhere you wanted to go. Also I left my room card in slot in room to keep electric power on while I was gone. I had a mini fridge for the medicine. When we returned there was no room card. Someone removed it while we were out. No one claimed to have taken it. We left in slot for power, for the medicine. I had to pay to replace a card I did not misplace. Not happy about that

The view from balcony was beautiful. The room was good size. Housekeeping kept room clean.
