People above were abit noisy with there dog but just a minor annoyance.

Great location, staff were great. Cozy locale within minutes of the beach. Felt well taken care of by staff. On the day I was leaving owernship stated they were planning on starting continental breakfast. A nice treat to a solid location.

Can't really think of anything that didn't meet or exceed our expectations.

ZonaZ was an unexpected gem. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The pool area was adorable and a nice place to take a dip in the afternoon to cool down. The location was incredible, only 3 blocks from the beach, on the same street as several great restaurants, and there was quick and easy access to the big gay bar area. The only folks I'd warn off are those with mobility issues because it is at the top of a hill.

Fantastic boutique property right in the heart of the Romantic Zone. The owners and staff are very accommodating and go above to ensure you have a great visit. As a frequent traveler, the room was perfect: cold AC, hot shower, fast WiFi and a quiet neighborhood. Such a lovely hotel!

The pool was a nice addition for a day or two but not something we used every day. The balcony door didn’t lock right away, but maintenance fixed it as soon as we asked. It did lock behind us so you’ll want to test it out before locking yourself out of your room!

The location was perfect! It is just a few blocks from excellent restaurants, the beach, shopping, and night life. It is in a nice quiet area that was safe and well maintained. The room was clean, the bed was large and comfy, and the bathroom had a nice shower with warm water. The little balcony was great to spend the morning with a coffee from the coffee shop around the corner.

Location was the best walking distance to great restaurants and activities. The hotel was very clean and staff was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. We felt very secure and comfortable.

Comfortable space with kichenette. Punch code instead of swipe key was easier. Loved our balcony by the pool.

The door opened with a code rather than a key and we didn’t feel confident that it was secure as it was a very obvious number that seemed not to change between bookings, and there was no safe in the room. It made us nervous but ultimately was fine.

The hotel is well located, within walking distance from the commercial streets at Puerto Vallarta. The room was very well organized, in a smart way, well decorated and equipped, clean and quiet. We were very well looked after by the staff. Clearly the hotel has excellent management.

I liked the property, but either the vet clinic next door or neighboring hotels had dogs that would sometimes bark loudly at night, especially during the storms. Only happened a few nights however and overall it was a pleasant stay.

It was a beautiful property on the hill above the beach. Very close to pharmacies, convenience stores, restaurants, and the beach. The owner showed me around the immediate area of the hotel and helped me understand which way everything was.

The hike back from the restaurants and bars. The owner - someone blocked my door and loud outside so when I checked, a lot of luggages outside my door. So I asked the guy why is he blocking the door. He answered - we own the hotel. Sounded like he can block the doors and be loud because he owns the hotel. I would probably rate it higher if not for him. Instead of saying we’ll remove it right away, he basically says I can’t do anything coz he owns the place.
