Picture of room is different from what I get. Was shown a room with balcony that's why I booked a slightly higher price room but ended up getting the same room without balcony.

Policy of only giving one key per room. And not issuing an invoice at the end of the stay if booking is made via an aggregator. Atas Cafe should open earlier, given the fact that the hotel doesn’t have any other F&B facility.

I was on the ground floor with a room overlooking the rear terrace/restaurant so I couldn’t open my curtains without people being able to see in … I may as well have booked a cheaper room without windows!! The terrace restaurant didn’t serve any pastry type breakfast item .. croissant, bread .. until after 11am. Not much use when you’re wanting to get out n sitesee.

Great location away from town centre but still v close. Lovely stylish decor in room and out. V comfortable beds and super bedlinen/ towels. Staff fabulous.. helpful and cheery. Very restful interior seating area with delightful water feature … not sure about the big fish!! Good shower with lots of hot water, not so sure how to get cold water from hand basin tap. Bottled drinking water, tea/coffee making provided.

Staff service was not so helpful especially during breakfast..the girl at the counter was bad in explaining things and servicing..and not so accommodating...the food was so bad ..not like last time because we been visiting 1825 for almost 7 years and one of our favourite places to stay whenever we are in Malacca..this time we are not happy at all

Breakfast/ food options. Not ideal but ok. Food area under utilised. Little thing was an extra mirror in the living room/bed area would be useful. A tiny fridge for cold drinks would be great.

Wish there's a fridge but it does not really affect us who were there for one night only. Room was next to the road and sometimes you can hear the motorcycles going down the streets. Took us a while to figure out how to release water from the sink. Not a design we are used to.

Love the extra large bed… definitely bigger than King size…. The bathtub had jacuzzi too but it wasn’t working too well…. Seemed to splatter water all over but the water dried up very fast overnight… first hotel toilet ever that dries up so fast…. Furniture were all very clean despite most are wooden furniture which tends to trap dust… Netflix was also working well with a subscription…

The toilet is not clean enough, for example, basin is not clean enough.

I like the interior design and location, their staffs are quite helpful and friendly.

The whole breakfast experience, the breakfast facility was clearly outsourced to another company and it really showed, the waitress barely smiled once in our three days there, the service was so slow, we waited 10 minutes for hot milk on our last morning, it really lets the hotel down, you would be better off getting breakfast brought in to guests rather than them having to face miserable staff in the morning, also breakfast didn’t start until 0730 far too late for people who want to get on with their day

The uneven floor surface at the cafe. I tripped and sprained my ankle because I did not expect that it was that hazardous. This spoilt my plan to walk around the city the following day as it hurts so much.

The service is excellent (greatest appreciation to Malini and her team for attending to our needs graciously and professionally), room is spacious, the bed is great, and the bathroom is superb! Fantastic deco and artworks, and huge beautiful kois. The garden cafe overlooking the river and the walk along the river promenade are just splendid experiences. Will come again.

We made a room service at the hotel's restaurant but need to go down to the lobby for payment as I used my debit card. There has been a small problem in my room preference but the staff managed to provide us our prefered room

We like the food (buffet). There are lots of dishes to choose. The location is very centralized and near the temple and mall. The hotel has spacious lobby and convenient. The staff is friendly and helpful
