This hotel is amazing it is in a great location. Close to Jonker Walk which has markets on Friday and Saturday night. There is a great local food hall right next door which was good value. Spa over the road which offered amazing massages. Our room was spacious and so clean and very cool. Breakfast limited choices but all we needed and cooked fresh as we placed our order.

Hard to control shower to make it warm. Came out either too hot or cold.

Great decor of Chinese looking theme on arrival. Cosy feeling and well decorated. Rooms are spacious and location is the best. Mere minutes to jonker walk and right beside river. Simple and good breakfast.

Was difficult to get shower in warm water. It came either too hot or cold. Difficult to control. Hard to stop car to unload luggage and passenger for checkin as the road infront of hotel is super busy and narrow road and will create a traffic if u stop to alight.

Super clean and clean look with Chinese theme throughout. Rooms are spacious and breakfast was simple and good. Location is the best. Just beside malacca river and has back door entrance to riverside. 2min walk to jonker walk and nearby main attractions. Parking lots of about 5 available on first come first serve.

1. Breakfast was mediocre. The sausages and pancakes were terrible, do not trust the photos! 2. The refrigerator was broken. 3. The free rental bicycles were too old and in poor maintenance

The room was cosy and stylistic. Better if we were allowed to use the other staircase closer to our room. Nice river view if you go out from the back door of the hotel

Stairs, as are expected in a heritage property, to carry luggage up. Carpet in our room, which I do not like. Sadly, the small but very private pool is no longer operational. However, the area may be turned into a garden terrace area, which would be lovely as it looks over the river.

Beautiful heritage building in a fabulous location, with the river behind and a short walk to all the sights. Many tasty cafes and restaurants nearby, including next door, across the street. Very large room with a large bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We chose a premium room that was at the front upstairs with many large windows, allowing lots of light with curtains pulled back. Easy location for Grab or taxi drop-off and pick-up. Pleasant helpful reception staff.

The towel and bedsheets are quite old, so you can notice some stains around. I believe that they did proper cleaning because they smell good.

Breakfast is very nice and the room is comfortable, super friendly hotel reception. We enjoyed everything.

Loved the look of the hotel, very charming and cozy. The view from the room overlooked the river and was very nice. This room was fantastic for family also, very big and spacious. Also the staff were very helpful when the room water heater had some issues and quickly resolved it although it was late at night. Breakfast was also great.

The bidet hose situated too far back which is an awkward position. WiFi speed was faster during my last stay but failed to connect for most of the time (due to too many users?). Coffee maker was a bit faulty. No bar soap and bathrobes, although listed under "available facilities"

Comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom, in particular, the shower (it could easily accommodate 2 people). Location is superb, short walking distance to tourist attractions such as the Jonker Walk, and walking along the Malacca River, you can explore a variety of shops/restaurants/bars or pubs

The staff was very friendly and informative. The interior design looks very baba & nyonya. The hotel is located in a very central and quiet area, with lots of bars, cafes, and restaurants to pick from and is within walking distance from all the major landmarks. The hotel room was very clean and well prepared for our arrival.

- Carpet a bit dirty in some places both in hallway & in room. - It is advertised as “soundproof” but I don’t believe that is fact. It is still pretty quiet but I can still hear things going on outside my room. Focus on the positives above though. This is a good place to stay.
