Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SingaporeCarpet was not vacuumed, some food debris on the floor near the bed. Sound travels too well; thin walls.
Super close to KLIA2 for early morning flight out. Friendly receptionist (a lady) and ease for access all day.

ItalyLighting a bit too dim. There was no bright light and since there was no natural light I was scared I'd leave something behind. Glad I had just my overnight bag and not my suitcase.
Location, comfort, everything you needed for a short stay was provided except for a fridge. Kettle with tea/coffee, wakeup call, toiletteries, hairdryer provided. In room dining. Modern, clean and room size big enough for 2 people. Easy to reach from arrival hall, well signposted. Lots of eateries nearby.

AustraliaThe location could’ve been explained better.. you have to go through immigration and the hotel is outside of the gates which is unnecessary for a layover stay as you go through all the frustrating paperwork again via immigration when coming out then going back into your gate you need to go through security again the lines are just too long and not worth it. There are other hotels inside terminals where you dont need to go through immigration/security again like Sama sama hotel.
Room was perfect for a 12 hour layover.

New ZealandThough nice and quiet the air conditioning was hard to operate and adapt. Started too high at 26 degrees but woke up to 19 degrees in the middle of the night and couldn't figure out how to change settings so had to turn it off. Some clear instructions would have been helpful. Took an hour to get through immigration and cost a US$30 fee for basically a 6 hour sleep. Worth bearing in mind when considering cost and convenience. Obviously not a fault of the hotel. A high price for basic facilities. would be good to have a cheaper 8 hour option.
I booked a solo room/windowless box for one night (12 hours) between flights from KLIA 1 but only stayed for 7 hours. Good location if transiting. Clean and very functional. Quiet and dark. Shower was good. Early morning alarm call was a bonus.

AustraliaI think the hotel is luxury enough to have bellboys and staff to help with luggage.
Great hotel if you need to stay overnight at KLIA 2. Soundproofing is pretty good considering you are at an airport, can of course hear aircraft landing and taking off.

AustraliaThe check-in experience is subpar. Only 1 attendant at the check-in counter during peak hour (I am referring to dinner + rest hour between 7 - 8 pm). The personnel is gesturing like a "trainee", exhibiting destitute of experiences and skills to handle check-in hiccups, and we have been "stand-waiting" at the counter with other who wish to check-in for more than 15 minutes without any clarification / reason as to why the delay occurs (note: the manager show up and promptly resolved the delay - huge credit to the duty manager). Aerotel is not cheap to stay, it costed us close to 900 ringgit for just 12 hours stay, hence i am expecting a "5 stars experience" not just the room, but the customer service as well.
hands down - the room and location (KLIA2) are definitely above expectation. The manager is able to offer an alternative that makes my family members a delighted experience to stay in this accomodation. There's lots of stores in KLIA2 open late for foods, gifts and shoppings, all of them short walking distance from the hotel. We will definitely choose it again should be return to KLIA Terminal 2 as our departing airport.

The location was literally the best thing about the hotel. It was super convenient to be at the airport for our early flight out. Rooms are clean and pretty basic with no windows so don't expect much! It's solely for sleeping.

United KingdomNo sound proofing so difficult to sleep. Could hear everything from room next door and corridor (great when children are running up and down the hall screaming at 2AM :D)
A super convenient place to spend a night if you're flying from KL airport the next day. In a shopping mall, so easy to get food, supplies, etc. Room was comfortable and clean. Great shower.
