I’m still not a friend of the toilet / shower combination I’ve seen a few times. But it served the purpose and was clean, I’m bleating on a high level given that it is a hostel.

Ann was an awesome host and her tips helped big time. The atmosphere created (including the non-available WiFi) was very positive and the fellow guests were easy as well. It is one of the few places in Malaysia that I regret my short stay.

Ann is such a fantastic host. She knows everything about Taman Negara and can help you organise your hikes depending on how long you wish to stay. She's so friendly and helped plan out the rest of my trip in KL. This is definitely the place to be to feel like home away from home.

Ann is such a lovely person. She's full of energy and feels like a hostel Mom. She's right there to give advice for adventures, and is extremely knowledgeable on the region. She makes the visit so much fun! The two of us ended up staying up super late one night, just talking about life. I want to go back!!!

Anne is an amazing host she makes a great effort to make sure each person in the hostel has the best stay. The hostel is a brilliant place to meet new people. Best place I’ve stayed in 3 months of travelling, I highly recommend booking here.

Good location, cool design inside for the dorm all open so everyone is in the same room. You shouldn’t be spending much time in the room anyway in Taman Negara

This is the best hostel in Taman Negara!!! Ann is the most wonderful and welcoming host. She can accommodate everything from booking tours, busses, etc. The hostel was clean and had nice music playing in the common area. Definitely recommend coming for your stay in Taman Negara!

Only con: the AC during the night can be quite noisy, depending on where you are accommodated in the facility. Not a big price to pay to have a comfortable temperature: be sure to bring your earplug!

Ann, the host, is definitely the plus of this hostel. She is very informative and resourceful, she can advice and fix everything you need during your stay, including transportation to and from the village. Facilities are clean, functional, well managed and located just few minutes walking from restaurants, supermarkets and the entrance of the park.

The host is amazing! It’s like your mom during te stay. It’s very wel located for many activities! Don’t forget to take off you’re shoes, or mom is going to be angry 😉

nothing it was perfect

This stay was amazing. A good hostel with everything you need, the owner Anna is really nice and helpful for everything (you can book all the activities in Taman Negara directly to her at the hostel). The common space is nice and perfect to meet people. The showers and toilets are clean and there is only 30sec walk to the first restaurant and 2min walk to the river, amazing situation. You can go there as an alone backpacker without thinking twice. Thanks Anna and Nana !!

My bed was next to the air conditioning so was quite cold at night but Ann gave me a second blanket.

Ann et Nana were very helpful. You don't feel like being a guest but more like part of a group of friends. Very good for solo traveler. I had some issues with my knees and Ann gave me some advice on alternative walks which was very helpful.
