One thing that pissed me was the tap at the wash basin. It seemed that the controls were not working, whether I turned it to hot or cold it always "burning hot" which hurt my knuckles. The water flow was also very small Hope this can be improved. However, I will still choose Amari for my next stay. :)

I am happy that it is in a very good and convenient location, near Komtar and City Square and also the railway station. I did not come by rail but in the future I will to beat the traffic jam. All your front desk staff had a smile on their face and they were helpful and apologise profusely when something is not right.

I wish I had been informed earlier about the event as it was overcrowded and I felt left behind. The food provided was not sufficient for the crowd and we had to wait for them to top up the next batch of food. I felt that the services and facilities provided were not up to the mark for a five-star hotel.

The location was convenient as it was situated close to all the necessary amenities.

Sink water pressure in the room was too high, using splash onto the floor and mirror. We went there for the Ramadan buffet as Kambing Golek was in the menu but no more when we came in at 7.30pm. And there was no additional Kambing Golek after that. That was a huge disappointment for me. Gave a lower score because of that.

Walking distance from CIQ. Top notch service. Super comfortable beds, with a pillow menu to choose from. Great dinner buffet spread.

The faucet for the wash basin in the toilet really shouldn't be the spray type. It splashes onto your clothes and the volume of water is just small, or at least feels like it.

Breakfast spread I would say is the best you can find in any hotel in JB. I like the vibe and energy that the vibe gives, with the live music and piped in tunes. The latter is a little loud but I noticed that guests don't really mind it, probably because it kind of provided the jumpstart for the day. Another nice touch is the decor or installations that hotel would have in the lobby.

Only shortfall was that the waitress cleared all my plates and cup when I haven’t finished eating. No, there weren’t a lot of people queuing to have breakfast on a mid-week Wednesday 😅

Our first time staying at this quite-new hotel where the location is unbeatable (any location within 10 mins’ walk from CIQ is good)! Check-in and out was fast and the size for a superior room is good enough even for a family of 3 (don’t need to upgrade to deluxe). Room & toilet are clean & very spacious, only small complaint was the aircon was full-blast even though I had changed it to 29 degrees! We snuggled inside the thick blanket also can feel the coldness 😂 This applies to the rest of the hotel including the lobby. I opted for just 1 day of breakfast but was given 2 days 👍 breakfast selection is of a 5-stars’ hotel standard, spoiled for choices!

A bit of dust on in the spotlights and few stray ants. But they are not big problems that affects the quality of the experience.

The room is big, clean and quiet. All the staff are warm and hospitable. It is our 2nd time staying on the hotel and will not be the last for sure. Location is excellent. Nearby to everything. Breakfast is as great as ever too!

The room was not cleaned up at all by the hse keeping. We have to call a few times to remind them to do so.
