the kids room can be updated..quite a small room for kids to play. not much toys at all. basics of indoor playground like having slides should be included in the kids room

Not so much the property but the area. There’s not much around and taxis are expensive to get anywhere.

The restaurant Turmeric might need a bit of touch up. It was raining when we were there and there were a few places of water leakage from the roof, including the first table we were sitting at. It would be better if the restaurant can be expanded. I feel the food options for breakfast is slightly less, compared to Westin Desaru.

I love its location. It's so near to the beach. Good size of balcony and able to enjoy the wave and wind from the balcony. Absolutely loves the spa and the helpful staffs.

it’s so beautiful and we fell in love the moment we stepped into the lobby and the staff took us to an area with couch to sit and take in the breathtaking views of the resort while we do the check in right there. that was the best part.

The aircon in the Turmeric restaurant was disappointing. Need to improve on the water droplets from the aircon.

It can’t be argued that this is good value for money for Malaysia. The room rates are borderline Singapore prices. Although the breakfast was amazing the other restaurants are sub-par and very expensive. It seems like they are still figuring things out which is understandable given it’s a new and large hotel. e.g. I ordered a salad nicoise with seared tuna. I received some can tuna on some lettuce and peppers. Situation was super well handled by the manager though. Not a deal breaker at all. I recommend sticking to the local food and Thai options as they do this well.

The rooms were fantastic, good size, smartly designed, luxurious and comfortable. The bathrooms in particular were very nice. super clean and housekeeping was attentive - for example constantly replenishing complimentary drinking water. The pool and the grounds were brilliant. We spent whole days playing in the pool. they also have kids club with daily activities and the staff there were great. The breakfast was very good!

The bus shuttle service (perhaps beyond the control of the hotel) is unreliable. Buses will either be late or not turn up at all. Be prepared for excuses such as engine failure or "you have missed the bus timing" despite being 45-minutes early!

- Pools dirty - Also prior to checking in was informed by reservation staff that i had to pay for my small child. No additional bedding or with additional bedding. Like what?!
