The accommodation is nearby a mosque, the prayers are quite loud.

We really enjoyed our stay, the challets are spacious and clean. Beds are very comfy. We could rent motorbike directly from the resort. The location of the resort is really nice, 10 minutes drive to the cable car and 15-20 minutes from Cennang beach.

Very near a Mosque and very loud prayers went on for hours in the evening . Perhaps 7-11pm? Tricky for children to sleep. Hard to find nice food for dinner but perhaps that was because of Ramadan

Stayed for 3 nights and expected housekeeping (even put the ‘make up room’ sign on the door) but didn’t get any (it says daily housekeeping on booking.com description). Staff were quite slow to do anything and generally spoke poor English. Enough to be helpful.

Lovely little bungalow. Beautifully decorated. Sam was lovely and helpful! Really nice ethos and surroundings. Great food! Nice breakfast (Nasi Lamak incredible)

We loved everything about this place! The gentleman caretaker that looked after us on arrival was so friendly and sweet! We were able to walk less than 5 mins to a local mosque which great for us as Muslim travellers. The chalet is awesome and the resort itself is really well made. The facilities are great, air con, wifi, fans, iron, shower etc - all brilliant. Breakfast options were provided on arrival so this is prepared for you next morning - which was delicious.

There is nothing I didn’t like. It was a bit out of the way, but once you get a scooter is all good.

The rooms were very clean and the bed very comfortable. The staff was super helpful and kind. You can rent a scooter at the chalet, which you will need to get around as it’s a bit out of the way, however quite close to the markets if you get a scooter. Close to the Langkawi sky bridge/ cable car

This place is indeed a special one in Langkawi. Mr Chen is an interesting Person and aware to details. The chalets are very nice, and the Atmosphäre is great. The Swimmingpool is the most clean we saw in our 6 weeks in Asia, there are fruit trees around the area, and the breakfast is a real highlight! Yes, you do need a motorbike (can be rented on the spot) and from Api-Api you are strategically located to discover the island. Here you are a bit far from the touristic and busy area and nearer to a more romantic experience. The prayer in the morning from the nearby mosque was for us not disturbing, rather beautiful and important to culturally locate us.

Inside the cabins there is only very bright cold light. Such a pity for the whole atmosphere that is very cozy otherwise.

I had a fantastic and quiet stay. Perfectly integrated into nature with a lot of animals to see. The cabin was comfortable, the bed was one of the best i‘ve had in southeast asia. The employees were all very kind. Nice pool area. Amazing breakfast too!

Nothing close at all, pretty isolated location. Would be handy if you needed a stopover getting on/off the ferry to Koh Lipe (which I recommend 10000%).

Room was beautiful and had everything you could need. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. Great value for money.

Nothing, just wish we had time to stay another night!

This place is just idyllic. My partner and I stayed here for one night on our way back from Koh Lipe and it was such a relaxing stay. We hiked up the nearby hill which was just a short taxi away. The property is modern, clean and has everything you need, it’s out in nature so perfect just to relax in the peace. The staff were so friendly and kind and breakfast was delicious. Some reviews mention the noise from the nearby mosque, we did hear it but it doesn’t go on too long and it’s quiet in the evening. The accommodation is a bit out of town and you’ll need to use Grab to get places but that was part of the appeal to us! Thank you so such a wonderful stay!

Out of owners control but although I love the call to prayer I had never experienced up to 2 hours.. One night of what seemed like an angry sermon with the 2nd night more gently but as we go to bed at 8ish we struggled.

We loved Api Api Resort! Nestled amidst a mangrove forest, you’ll find cute and very comfortable huts, a nice swimming pool and plenty of cozy spots and hammocks to relax. The breakfast was very nice with several options to choose from (incl vegetarian). Recommend to rent a scooter (the friendly staff will help you) so that you can drive around the island and explore all the beauty it has to offer. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to Langkawi!

Natural environment, beautiful morning breakfast overlooking the lake, birds chirping, roosters, fishes in the lake. I really enjoyed the environment. Will come again. After checking out, I requested the owner to keep some baby food in their freeze for 6 hours until our flight time. They did it happily. Very cooperative staff

Access to the facility. Narrow and partially bituminized. No night light in the room - too bright or pitch dark. Too many showers to maneuver and control in a tiny bathroom. Loud noise from the neighboring facility. Need to inform the facility and consider neighborhood. Especially for people who are visiting (tourists) and who do not understand the language, it disrupts the peace and tranquility of the resort and eventually the reputation of the resort and location.

Quiet eco-resort. As in the name.
