All good cannot complain about anything

Beautiful quiet place in the village. Loved the bungalows very clean and comfortable. The surrounding is lovely and peaceful except the daily prayer which is loud but ear plugs were provided. Breakfast included was really nice. A good sized pool. Sam the owner was always around and very caring and helpful . You do need transport to get around but bike rentals was excellent. Will definitely stay here again.

Sam the caretaker was amazing! It’s a beautiful property and the breakfast is amazing. You need a scooter or vehicle to get around the Island though.

Can't fault anything, provided everything you would need and owners went above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Breakfast was great, plenty of choices to suit all tastes and dietary needs. Wifi really good. Lovely pool.

    All was good

Lovely family run guesthouse with really friendly owners. Good standard room, hot shower and amazing pool view. It can be loud in the morning with prayer calls but we still recommend staying here!

You will need to get a scooter/car or use grab taxis, as it is a little far away from most things. The call to prayer is very loud.

Gorgeous, unique setting in the mangroves. Incredible breakfast provided and you can sit and watch the birds from the breakfast hut. Cutest and friendliest owners and staff.

    Nothing.

A quiet place surrounding by natures away from busy place like chenang. However, it's still reachable by car and the country side makes the stay more private than other typical holiday resorts. The bed was large and comfy and the breakfast was delicious. The owner and staff were very helpful, friendly and wonderful. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Not walking distance to a beach, certain nights you can hear loud music from the nearby fishing village (known issue I guess, you are provided with earplugs).

Friendly host, clean rooms, decent breakfast and quiet privacy place(only 10 units). Amid the mangrove forests, you can do fishing or canoeing or catch crabs on the premise itself for free. For food there are some cheap and good food nearby.

The only negative is that it is a little out the way, which is why it is so peaceful. But there is scooter rental five minutes walk away or a Grab taxi to the Skywalk or airport is only MR10.

Stunning little chalet, clean and beautifully presented. Extremely comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities. The resort grounds are stunning too and so peaceful and relaxing. Lovely owner too. Highly recommended if you want to relax and unwind.

Loved everything about our stay. Beautiful bungalow: new, clean and comfy with lots of well thought details. We were amazed by the peaceful location and enjoyed relaxing in the verandah overlooking the mangroves and the fairy lights gracefully decorating the wooden footpaths. Good choice of breakfast which you can conveniently select at a time of your choice the day before. Run by an incredibly friendly family (big hello to the "uncle" who runs the place and is always followed by his cute chubby cat). We wish we could have stayed longer...will definitely spend at least 2 nights when we're back in Langkawi!

My only small gripe would be the use of single use plastic water bottles, plastic toothbrush/comb and tea and coffee provided in the room. I thought as an Eco resort maybe bamboo/wooden alternatives and a larger water bottle filled there would have been more in keeping. Perhaps the tea and coffee could be a couple of days worth in jars, then refilled by the resort instead of the single use offerings. I would be happy to pay a bit more to accommodate this, but otherwise I would still recommend Api Api Eco resort to anyone.

Off the beaten track, but still close enough I enjoyed my brief stay at Api Api Eco resort. Lovely peaceful setting (apart from the occasional call to prayer from the neighbouring mosque) I had a view of the pond at the front and mangrove at the back. Saw plenty of hornbills and a few otters as well. My accommodation was clean and comfortable. All staff were friendly and helpful, even giving me a lift to the best local beach. French toast I had for breakfast was delicious. A delightful haven, close but away from the main area.

if it rains it can be challenging for Grab cars to pick you up but the owners made themselves available if this was ever an issue

The facility is very new and is very comfortable to stay in but the staff is the friendliest I have ever met. The owner and his daughter Ju went above and beyond to make sure I have a comfortable stay, from the moment I arrived at the airport until I left, they knew I was a solo traveller and were regularly checking in on me to make sure I’m back safe and picked me up if needed. That’s beyond what you’d expect from your regular booking but it is proof to say they are very kind.

Cannot rave about this place enough! Everything was absolutely amazing. I wish I could've stayed longer. The cabins are quite private and open up right into the mangrove forest. Surprisingly, mosquitoes were not a huge problem (usually I get bitten a ton, but not here). I asked to move to a room closer to the entrance and the staff were very accommodating, even helped me move my belongings. The only downside is my own fault for not reading carefully enough - no internet in the cabins.

Nothing at all, would return tomorrow

We liked everything, we toured Malaysia staying in over 10 locations, Api Api was our favourite by far. Owner and staff all great and went the extra mile. A Chalet that is over a mangrove swamp! No smells, just Asian Short clawed Otters near by, fly flies lighting the trees at night and much more Great infinity pool, over looking a large pond, with Hornbills feeding on the island, Breakfast good and filling and varied choice.
