Nanda is a great host. He went above and beyond with making our stay pleasant. The place is clean, 4 minutes away from the beach and best bar in town (speaking of... beer fridge next to your room is a fantastic addition after hot day). Best stay so far in Malaysia and we already went through a lot of places here. Highly recommend!

As many other guests have commented, Nanda and his team are outstanding hosts. You feel welcome the minute you arrive. From cheap beer to morning mangos and bananas to exceptional hospitality, clean and comfortable rooms and excellent price, you really can't go wrong here! Minutes by foot from the beach and anything else you need (ATM., Restaurants, tour bookings), the location is perfect. Nanda even patiently answered all of my questions and arranged for our onward travel to Koh Lanta! Thanks for an amazing stay! Wish we could have stayed longer!

The owner Nando, brought me my breakfast from a nearby simple restaurant, to my room on the first two mornings of my stay. On the third morning, he accompanied me to the restaurant and we had breakfast together.The food was simple, but very tasty and I took myself to that restaurant every morning, for the remainder of my stay. Nando and his two main staff, Thomas and Rick, made me feel like one of the family and they showed me around the bars of the local community. I was humbled by the incredible hospitality from the locals on each occasion. Nando also introduced me to some of his family and he invited me along to a family reunion in Kuah, where we shared seafood and drinks in a local restaurant. As my one week stay reached its conclusion, he took me to the famous Scarborough fish and chips restaurant, where we chilled out for a couple of hours. The food was good and the view of the beach and surrounding islands from the restaurant, were well worth the visit. I will always have fond memories of my holiday in Langkawi, thanks to Nanda, Thomas and Rick. I look forward to going back.

Highly recommend this place for a stay on Langkawi. The owner and the people here are great. Either if you travel solo or in company this place is perfect. Rooms are clean and all desires like the beach, restaurants, bars etc...are in walking distance. The owner helps you with all needs. To summarize one of the best places we ever stayed at!

Genuinely can't think of anything.

What a place. We had a fantastic time. The rooms are spacious, clean and have everything you need, including a water shampoo and shower gel. It's really close to the beach and town but still really secluded and peaceful. Cheap scooter rental and beers. But best of all the management is super friendly, welcoming and relaxed, I have never felt so comfortable so quickly in an accommodation before. Thank you nanda!!!

I love this little guesthouse. The rooms are comfortable and with an amazing AC. The rooms have everything you need: desk, kettle, hangers for clothes, desk, fan etc. Nando is the best host you could imagine, so helpful with everything you need. Would recommend to everyone! 😃☀️

Our stay at Langkawi village was awesome. Nanda & Thomas were great hosts & made us feel at home. The room had a kettle, fridge, fan, good air conditioning, mosquito nets on the windows & free chilled water in the pantry & shared kitchen if you’d like to cook. Small bar & communal area for relaxing. Close to the centre, many restaurants & the beach. Scooter hire and tours are also available to book on site.

Nanda was the most helpful host I've ever met. He liaised with the airline when my bags were delayed and organised tours for me as well as providing excellent general info about things to do in Langkawi. He is an amazingly friendly guy and has a wealth of travel information. The room and facilities were well worth the price. The location is also very close to multiple restaurants, the beach and all the shops along the Jalan Pantai Cenang main strip. Thanks for being a wonderful host Nanda!

This is the best place to stay in Langkawi, quiet but central with everything within walking distance. What makes the place is the owner/host Nanda! He has created the perfect hangout and chill space. He has a fully stocked beer fridge where you can purchase beverages and spend your evening chatting with friends. Super relaxed, friendly, and helpful with any queries. He also arranges for scooters and offers tours. He even kindly picked up and dropped off our laundry for us! He went above and beyond any host we have had on our 9 months of travelling the world. The room was simple, equipped with a fridge, fan, and air con. Had enough space, and a desk was provided to work at which was nice. I’d recommend staying here for the nice communal atmosphere and value for money.

I was surprised to see a very clean room with bathroom attached. Owner is very friendly and gave a lot of tips (where to eat, how to get to duty free complex, etc). Location of the place is a short walk to beach and eateries. For the price I paid for the room is value for money. I stayed 1 night because it was a transit place for me. For budget travelers who intend to cook, you can use the common kitchen to cook your meal. Highly recommended!!!

Nando is a lovely host 😁, he truly makes you feel at home. This place is ideal if you want to be away from the busy strip at the beach, but have everything within walking distance. We had a great time!

This place is great, just a 5 minute walk to the beach (beach bars, water sports) restaurants, duty free shops etc. The host, Nanda made my stay really enjoyable with info about places to go and helped with the ongoing journey to Koh Lipe. The accommodation is very clean with good AC and a hot shower, kettle /fridge in the room. Communal area and kitchen available to use (with 'beer fridge'). A definite 10.

Great location. A 5 minute walk at the most to the beach. Closer still to the main street with a bar, restaurants and shops. Nanda is a great guy, very helpful and welcoming. Nothing too much trouble. Cooking facilities available on site if required. 2 burner, kettle, toaster etc. Large rooms in bungalow style. Clean with a comfortable bed, clothes rack and rack to dry clothes, a rarity, also fridge. AC and fan. Hot water shower. Balcony with seating. Also garden area with further communal seating. Dormitories soon to be opened as well. Would highly recommend. Great value for the money. Thanks, Nanda

The host Nanda was very accommodating and made me feel very welcome. He was also able to help with organising trips, arranging transport to the airport and recommending places to eat. Location was very good, close to lots of shops and restaurants etc but off the main road so still quiet.
