How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at this residence! The warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel at peace. The owner was very helpful and provided detailed guidelines. The cozy room was beautifully decorated and equipped with all the amenities we needed. The personal touch and attention to detail truly made this homestay a memorable and authentic stay. Overall, it was a good deal and we are very satisfied. Looking forward to staying here again next time 🥰👍👍👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Need to leave before 12 afternoon.
Room was spacious. Comfortable 2 double beds in each room which can accomodate 8 people. View from high floors was spectacular. Shops around the Condo was easy to access. Guards were very helpful. Jonkers walk was nearby. Parking was easy base on tower we stay. Swimming pool was big. Price was affordable for 10 pax. It was a very relaxing holidays. I will sure come back again and stay.

no astro or tv channel. only got tv box which we’re not familiar with
the apartment and the bedrooms was very spacy even with 2 queen beds in each bedroom. Got extra pillows and mattresses kitchen essentials were complete. got water dispenser the pools were remarkable both for children and adult

Swimming pool is very cold. Place is popular with tourists.

There is only 1 access card. Not so convenient for us when we want to move around. Other than this all are great.
Very spacious, clean and comfortable. suitable for small family stay. All necessities are provided. There are lots of restaurant around, very convenient. We enjoy stay in this property.

Only provide one access card. Not enough for me. When i was doing gym at gym room. My family got no place to go.

Some gadgets like aircond & fan remote controls not functioning. Fittings like shower head holder need to be tightened. Overall, only minor setback.
Cozy place with nice view. Quiet & no disturbance from other guests. Will definitely come back again.

Washing machine was actually dirty inside the tub. I would recommend owner to at least do a tub cleaning once a month. Got 1 access card only, since going up and down the lift requires access card hence quite difficult. You will need to fetch if someone wants to go up and the pool is very strict about the dress code. Saddd. =( It would be nice if have smart TV or google TV, can stream Netflix or something. The android box provided was outdated, cannot install Netflix or Disney.
Easy access. Owner was very helpful and provide support. Detailed instruction was given to enter the property. Room was clean and spacious. AC on every room and living room. View was quite nice, can see the ocean. Can cook, got some plate, bowl, cup, fork and spoon. There's washing machine and place to hang your cloth to dry after wash. Bathroom was clean, got water heater and rain shower. The water pressure was good as well. Price was affordable per night. For the TV, only got standard channel via MyTV. Love the place. Will definitely stay here again if I'm in Melaka.
