No table lamp for warmer light before going to bed, but this is a really small complaint.

Beautiful and spacious room in floor area as well as ceiling height, with a window that looks out to quiet residential street. I immediately felt at ease when entering because of the elegant furnishings and top-notch cleanliness in the room as well as the bathroom, which is also huge. The bed is hard--which I like--while the pillow is medium-soft. Big wardrobe, kettle and 2 cups provided, with 2 packets each of Shandong peanuts and Tesco 3-in-1 coffee. Softest toilet paper I've ever used. Didn't manage to ask the staff what brand that was! Would have liked to know the wash basin and shower brands too--Adosa or something like that. I don't remember the shower gel and shampoo gel brand but it was something organic. I could check in within 15 minutes of my booking made in the later half of the night. I don't know why my searches via Agoda, Booking for Ipoh places never showed this guesthouse. I only found it on Google Map and saw that it was labelled top-rated on the map. You can't believe everything you read on the Internet, but glad to find out that this is true. Thank you to the host for providing such a comfortable and clean place at a very reasonable price, which I would never expect to find in Malaysia. It's on par with a developed country's standards.

It will be best if the television has other channels or eg Youtube and if there's shower curtains/divider in bathroom as the toilet bowl area will be abit wet during/after showers.

The service was good in handling our arrival to departure. Our stay was relaxing. Owner/Host - Ice is friendly, helpful, professional, and prompt in replying to my msgs. Room is clean, spacious, has all the required basic amenities and room comes with free wifi. There were bottles of drinking/mineral water and instant coffee satchets provided. Beds are comfortable for sleep. Our family enjoyed our stay at Austin 😊 Thank you!

We left our pizza only for a while and there were ants all over and from time to time have mosquitos. Maybe because its landed as well. Recommend to bring your own insects repellent although not a nightmare but can improve your stay esp if you have children.

At first, we were worried because we entered into quite an old residential area. However, the room iitself while priced slightly more than budget hotel but lower than normal hotel is equipped with mini fridge, haridryer, TV, wifi, water kettle, coffee, mug, water heater, free parking, really really clean and bigger than average room and toilet, a study table, wardrobe and mirror even better than some hotel priced more expensive. Definitely will recommend

The host is very friendly. The guesthouse is a bit far from the old town, but it is easy to get a taxi with Grab and it costs only about 11 MYR to get to the old town. Even after adding taxi fares, the total cost is still lower than that for most decent hotels in the city. Most importantly, it is located in a quiet neighbourhood.

Overall the guest house is very good from the aspect of cleanliness, comfortness and facilities. The owner is Ice and she was very friendly and I really appreciated a lot that she let me check in at night time around 10++/11pm when I stuck in the traffic jam on the way to Ipoh, the check-in time is very flexible.

Probably should have provided one shower cap. The lower flooring of the bath area from the toilet bowl area should be separated with another strip of tile colour to make it easier for short-sighted people to distinguish the different level of flooring. Need better soundproofing walls.

Room was super clean. Family room came with a mini refrigerator. Host was very friendly and she prepared everything well for my 3 nights stay.
