privacy can be an issue if rooms fully occupied as balcony overlooks the chalet. Also walls are thin and so noise from next door neighbour can be a problem.. lol I was lucky ..quiet weekend

premium water chalets ..amazing relaxing space..the daybed is a winner..I could lie all day just chilling.

Was given a water chalet facing the beach although we paid for Premium Water chalet. This was quickly rectified after we complained. The beach should be clean up and weeded so that guests have more beach space. Not enough bath mat after room cleaning and no effort to replace

Location is good and many activities to do in the resort. I like the water chalet, room is spacious and clean. Enough pillows and good range of toiletries given.

I stayed in a 2-Bedroom Water Villa, the sliding doors facing to sea is broken, hard to slide it and actually it couldn't be locked fully, as i still can slide the doors after closing it. In the bathroom, can see the wall painting closes to to floor is going to tear off. On the balcony, there was too much bird's stool

The place is in serious need of some repairs and maintenance. It was probably a beautiful resort 20 years ago but now has an old, jaded and tired feeling about it. Everywhere I looked, there was rust, peeling paint, dust, cracked tiles, broken/chipped furniture etc - the management and the owner of the resort should invest more into repairs and maintenance. The place has a lot of potential and I wish they would reinvest in it. Separately, for travellers keen on a premium water chalet, do ensure your room has an unobstructed view of the sea, not the one like ours.

The layout of the resort was quite a thrill. We like the tiny cottages on stilts built out into the sea. There were many quiet spots around the resort that offer lovely views of the sea. The open-air bathroom is also quite a novelty, as is the view of the sea from our bed. Our view from our premium chalet was disappointing as our cottage was set back, and the view of the sea was partially obstructed by two rows of premium water chalets in front (which was not the case in the pictures). We asked the front office for a change of rooms but as it was New Year's Eve, the hotel was full. So, they offered us a refund to the price of a standard room, rather than a premium water chalet.

Room was a bit run down.Furniture looked old and smell was musty. The beach wasn't too clean and had a lot of plastic on it. Food was okay. Staff members were pleasant. Liked the service at the restaurant. But only one restaurant was really functioning although the hotel was quite fully booked.

The walking distance to the room from the lobby is quite far. It's good to have a buggy service.

The wooden door to the toilet is too tight. It would be good if you could provide a buggy to bring us to our room, as it is quite far. The food is nice, but a bit expensive. Did not use the pool, so no comments.

Some of the rooms were poorly maintained. The walls had mould and rising damp.

The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the food there. He liked the location of the shallays over the water. The pools were great.

The water chalet, though they were a bit rundown, but still well maintained. Since we had the premium, water chalet, the view from the balcony esp during sunset was awesome. The hi-tea during sun set at Avi Spa was nice. The landscape was well maintained.

At 5:30pm, that is 2 hours past check-in, room was not ready. Upon entering, 1 toilet was now washed, there were urine splatters on the toilet bowl & the toilet floor.
