Great room (we booked a superior room), with a large bathroom. Very helpful staff allowed us to check in early as the room was vacant and stored our luggage on day of departure.

There was dirt and dust around the edges of the room and on top of the light fittings when I arrived. But otherwise the room was spotless.

This property has been well renovated and is very comfortable. My room was spacious.

We had an issue with a few mosquitos getting into the room. Not quite sure how they got in considering we didn't have a window that opened in the room.

Very nice hotel in the midst of Old Town Ipoh. The rooms are as advertised, with exposed brick walls, TV and bed. Our room had an ensuite bathroom, which had a brand new instant hot water heater that worked great. Clean and comfortable! The shared bathrooms in the hallway looked nice and well maintained (even though we didn't need to use them). Great location to for easy walking around old town or over the bridge to the new town.

Staff might also want to check if the bathrooms are supplied with enough toilet paper and soap on a daily basis.

Very comfortable, clean and the lady was so kind. Good price good location. We just parked our car at the designated hotel parking and just booked grab to travel around the famous location - as the hotel located nearby to everything so the Grab fare were not expensive and no need to think about finding parking. Recommended!

There is no restaurant in the hotel so no breakfast I knew this when I booked but on reflection I think it needs something like this. Location is handy for the station.

Would have been nice to have a small fridge, but not a big deal as good value without it.

Great location! Very friendly and helpful staff, welcoming juice upon arrival, pretty and spacious common area with plants. Water dispenser with cold water to fill your bottles. Bright room (top floor at the front), comfortable bed, very large bathroom.

There could have been more surfaces to lay things in the room and the bathroom—an additional table or shelf would have really helped!

Lovely heritage property in central location in old town Ipoh, very clean rooms and bathroom, the corner room we had overlooked the Main Street and let in a lot of light. There is also a common area, though it was set deep inside the property on the first floor, so we didn't notice it at first. Friendly staff!

Some coffee and two cups in the room would be very nice to have as the coffee shops in Ipoh open late.. (10am).

Just something to note: noises from the hallway can be heard inside room.

Great location - it's close to the train station and also walking distance to Concubine Lane, shops and cafés. We booked a room with a private bathroom and had everything we needed. Hairdryer is available. Loved the design of the hotel as well - it's very cosy and comfortable.

Some minor repairs needed to the room. Bit more space for things - hooks, table - would be helpful. More tea / coffee options would be nice!

The male receptionist. He's supposed to hold his conversation with whoever it is on the phone and quickly attend to my check-in process first, but he didn't! He took almost 15 mins just to complete my booking and left me standing there clueless with my baggages. Very slow process! And after I settled in, I ordered a GrabFood and went down to pick my order and guess what I found? THE VERY SAME RECEPTIONIST WIDELY OPENED THE HOTEL ENTRANCE GLASS DOOR AND HE WAS FREAKING THERE, IN FRONT OF THE ENTRANCE, SMOKING! SMOKING WITHOUT CLOSING THE DOOR?? My nose is really sensitive to cigarette smoke and this made my mood went worse. And not to forget, there was one morning, he was talking loudly in front of the rooms' aisle

The location is so strategic, near to Concubine Lane, easy to get GrabCar and GrabFood. The room and the shared bathrooms & toilets are clean and always kept dry.
