Clean comfy beds, you can walk to plenty of nice restaurants and cool vintage shops. AC worked great.

The room didn’t have a window which seemed weird, also the air con automatically turns off during your sleep. It is loud due to the club next door, it is stated so was expected and hasn’t affected our rating but just to be aware if you haven’t read the whole description.

The cleanliness of the properly is exceptional, all areas are thoroughly cleaned daily. It has a very good location and the staff were lovely.

There are no storage dedicated for your personal belonging such as locker. I left my belongings around my bed but so far no issue occur. Maybe just a little improvement that can be made

location was prefect for me. A short walk to Ipoh parade mall. Multiple 24 hour shops within walking distance. Also multiple famous tourist spot within walking distance

There is a club located next to the hostel. The double room we booked was very closed to it and therefore we could hear the bass until 4 am. Even with earplugs you cannot drown out all the noises. Just be aware of that. We cannot speak for the other rooms! You have to rent the towels but it is fairly cheap.

The building and interior design are really nice. The common room is very cozy and you can find a variety of seating. The bed was clean and the room very spacious. We had our own sink in the room which was very convenient. They have a big, fully equipped kitchen. The shared bathrooms were always clean.

I couldn't believe the contrast between the communal areas and the female dorm. The dorm looked like a half finished extension with badly painted walls and an uncovered pebble ground. Although the mattress was comfortable all of us were freezing from the aircon and were given one thin blanket. I had to wear outdoor clothes on top of my pyjamas. No towel offered. Slow, bad wifi.

The communal areas were spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The staff were friendly and professional.

So freezing in the room, they offer you a second blanket but it is doing nothing and in the common area no Ac most of the time. Couches are dirty and stinky they should be more cleaned. I’ve seen a mouse inside the common area, but maybe is normal around here so no big deal

The noise and the long list of rules

Good hostel it is just a shame about the night club next door going till 5am and lots of rules the talk went on for about ten minutes on what you cannot do and all sorts of deposits too which were crazy expensive

i cant think of anything i didnt like. it was a comfortable place with plenty of attractions in the area.

friendly staff in a great neighborhood. easily able to walk to the majority of attractions within Ipoh. cold filtered water was available and the beds were clean. would stay again

My room was flooded when I arrived and I was told the leak couldnt be fixed until the next day. With no shelves or furniture, I had to put all my stuff in the bed. I was just given a mopp (!) and had to ask for a bucket and a towel. Fortunately a maintenance person came in the evening, but it became late before he was done. I was not given any compensation for the inconvenience. Also, the music from the neighbouring nightclub was louder than usual.

lockers would have been nice but the hostel is secure with keys and codes etc. as other reviews will say too it can be noisy at night due to a nightclub nearby

location was great , easy walk to old town etc. spacious common areas , clean bathroom facilities, kitchen area , i particularly liked that the beds weren’t pods so they were more spacious above you and bright but still had a curtain, laundry services just next door too

Why do none of the reviews mention the massive nightclub right behind the hostel that goes on until 1am at the earliest every day of the week?!!!! I could hear it through earplugs. Also you have to pay for towels.

The location was fine - at the border of the old town. It's really great inside - super clean, a big kitchen for guests, massive communal area, good beds. We encountered three reception staff in our 3 days there - two were laughably useless but then the third lady made up for the other two in helpfulness. I think her name might have been Jamie?

Wi-Fi sucks I literally couldn’t able to connect Bother in the room or hall

The hall, pantry, room also bathroom are clean and tidy Especially the bathroom, and floors. It isn’t wet and sandy or dirty The receptionist who checked me in did a great job on briefing
