I was hoping there could be more thoughtful facilities in the room, since it is the best in KK. There was no holder or rack to put our toiletries in the shower area. You provide soup, bottles of shower gel and shampoo, but we had to keep opening and closing the glass door each time we wanted to use the items, causing the floor to get wet; hence, it was troublesome. Since the room has space, there should be a side rack or table to allow us to put our stuff on and on the floor. You also have a nice, big balcony. While it is understandable not to allow guests to dry any clothing there, maybe a table with chairs for us to sit and lepak there for the beautiful view would be good?

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a great view from the entrance and the balcony. The area is quiet, surrounded by lush greenery, and it's near many attractions in town. Staff were all helpful and nice. I was told this was the best and most luxurious stay in Kuala Kangsar, and it did not disappoint. I will return if I visit KK again.

It was fine and perhaps to stock up toiletries - the toilet roll at the time we checked in was almost finished and would have been good to have an extra. We had to ask for more and for tissues as elk but no big deal (just ideas for improvement).

The amenities in toilet was less and practically like budget. The breakfast served was so basic and nasi lemak finished and no one replenished and monitor the service. the ladder was drop in the sambal and non staff check and i have to call the chef to change it. this is food safety and hygiene plus cleanliness. there is no person in-charge on duty and just the F&B staff busy talking at the counter. they should be busy checking the food, clear the plates or check the buffet. Coffee was so bitter and juices is empty.

Upon checking-in the DM welcome with smiles and greets. Asking if there is a reservation make? and many more and he is simply Good. in the evening the FO staff shared his knowledge about Casuarina group hotels and also recommend the other property with each individuals property offered. He knows every single details and very informative. Well Done.

There is a cemetery next to the hotel. Quite scary but can be tolerated with all the pros. The hotel management needs to upgrade the room facilities since the room is quite big. Add a decent sofa inside the room and add a coffee table and chairs at the balcony so that people can enjoy the serene view of Kuala Kangsar while sipping a cup of coffee or tea.

The view from our room is majestic. Watching the river flow peacefully under Sultan Abdul Jalil bridge, the view of the village on the other side of the river. The swimming pool facility is superb. The breakfast foods are on par with other prestige hotel. For history enthusiast, you need to stay here at least 2 night and explore all the available attractions and taste the authentic laksa kuale.

I'm afraid I am a bit sensitive to noise and found it difficult to sleep because of the noise of an air vent blowing air in the entrance foyer to the room. This would probably not be a problem for most people.

We had a Deluxe Queen Room on the 4th floor. The room is spacious, and opens onto a balcony with a fantastic view of the river. The room, including the bathroom clean and well appointed. We like to walk rather than be driven. The location was convenient with fairly easy access to the road leading to the Ubudiah Mosque and Perak Royal Museum. Apart from a couple of dodgy road crossings there is a safe footpath all the way out to the museum. A word of advice: the area is prone to afternoon rain, so take an umbrella! The breakfast was excellent. All in all, good value for the price.

I wish they could look into the bath towel quality, there was some sort of unpleasant smell like wet towel not properly dried. Each additional card requires rm50 deposit.

Room amenities. No dustbin in the toilet. No floor mat as well. Wi-fi is poor and to make it worse, the telco coverage (certain) is also poor. Weak soundproof - since the room is near the main road (corner), we can hear especially motorbike and lorry engine sound so clearly.

Parking is quite far from main entrance with no covered walkway. Bathroom door handle didn't work from inside. Breakfast buffet not bad but not particularly delicious either.

Huge room with balcony, mini fridge and sofa. Great location near town center with easy driving access. Big bathroom with strong rain shower. Iron and board provided.
