Great location right in centre of city. Excellent service from pre-trip (contacted to give directions to property), during stay (cooling room before arrival, checking in constantly to ensure all is well, & post trip (late checkout, checking in to ensure all is well).

Just be mindful that you have to climb a few flights of stairs; not a problem for me initially, but I was hobbling on my second stay after I'd climbed Kinabalu :(

Great value hotel, good location and nice amenities. The room was really pretty and there are lots of helpful extras such as water, toiletries, coffee/tea, phone charger, etc. Great view from the floor to ceiling window but you do get a bit of traffic noise until late due to it being a busy neighbourhood our hood; nothing that earplugs can't deal with if you need an early night though, and you can request a rear room. Good shower, with plenty of hot water. I liked it so much that I booked an extra night after climbing Kinabalu and heading to Sarawak. The surrounding area and beach looked really nice, but I didn't get the time to explore much.

CJ residence is about 10min taxi from the airport, easy to go to Jesselton Point Ferry (where to go for diving or book cruise trip). Surrendings with a lot of local food stalls or resturant. The owners and staff are super friendly and helpful! Very mindful to provide all necessary information and support. The bed is extramely comfortable (from my friend :)), even with an auto-massage chair. We had a wonderful stay in KK with CJ residence!

- It’s a residence of the old apartment/house, outside is old and no elevator, but the staff will help to carry up the luggage to the room.

- Central location easy to get anywhere you want to go - Excellent staff to provide required information and reply soon for inquiry - Good furniture for basic needs . also provide portable charger although we will take by ourselves. - Room size is not big but enough for one person

"It was very good that I used ""WhatsApp"" to respond in a timely and courteous manner." The room was clean and the Wi-Fi speed was fast and I had a comfortable time. It is well-located and has a large mall next to it, which is quite suitable as a tourist hub.

Many rooms have no windows, but this was more than compensated by the massage chair. Staircase looks terrible, but once inside you are in paradise.

This property is very similar to their other residence (AC Residence), which means that everything was perfect, although the beds weren’t as perfect as at AC residence. The highlight was the private in room massage chair.

Best place we’ve stayed at in Malaysia so far. Great location - right next to the KK night market. Really nice, clean room with so many amenities! Water, fridge (for all out market goodies) slippers, iron, + thoughtful details like an umbrella, and much more. All presented beautifully with nice ribbons and packaging. The hosts were very attentive, helpful and kind. They made sure that our every need was addressed. They even accommodated for a slightly later check out due to some issues we had. Very updated look + free upgrade to a window room. It is easy to see they take great pride in their accommodations and a positive experience for their guests. Loved our stay here and would come again.

Stairwell up was covered in old cigarette butts. It’s a common external stairwell so we weren’t really surprised by this, but it was noticeable. Deluxe room needs a bit of work. Baseboard was coming off and we had to take care of a roach that was living there. But not a problem.

Helpful staff with great communication and nice rooms. One of the best properties to stay in KK. We would happily stay there again when back.

Extremely good value for money ! Location central ideal for a one or two nights stay to explore KK. The entrance does not represent the accommodation, very well presented,, very well maintained, bed, linen, bathroom all great and many extras above and beyond what would be expected in this price bracket. Exceptional hospitality, felt really well looked after following an extremely long flight. Would definitely stay again

Don't be discouraged by the entrance..it looks a bit dingy and the staircase could be cleaned a bit more often with cigarette butts...but once you are in the apt, it was lovely. The picture of the signage made it easy to find and grab had no problem finding the location.

Fantastic central location, very clean with lots of little extras, coffee and tea, very comfy pillows and bed, nice towels and sheets. Very good customer service wanting to go out of the way to offer suggestions and help. Always responded promptly to questions.
