We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.

MalaysiaHello, I booked an apartment for my friend yesterday under the name of Abdalla Mohamed, who is Libyan. The building is called *Continew*,the property number b-12-02, I sent the net amount of 300 Malaysian Ringgits as a guarantee. However, I was surprised when the rental officer asked me to pay an additional 300 Ringgits, claiming that the initial payment did not cover it. When I objected, they said the initial payment was for the booking only and not for them. I would like clarification on this matter and would like to file a complaint against the property owner. Every time I contact her, she delays in responding and asks me to fill out Google Forms to join a group. I am very frustrated, and Google Forms does not accept my information. She insists on communicating only through the group, and we were forced to wait from 12:30 PM until 4:30 PM. The security did not allow us to have the key until we paid the additional amount because she claimed the initial payment was for the booking only and not for her. We always book our trips through your website, but this poor treatment, stalling, and deception is unexpected from your side. I got the evidence for all my complaints

EstoniaAVOID AT ALL COST!! Absolutely terrible experience! Cockroaches, dirty walls, dirty fridge, leaking sewage, toilet and sink. Apartment wasn't cleaned properly when we arrived and there were some extra mattresses just thrown in the bedroom. Walls were absolutely dirty with some brown spillage on the kitchen walls, the bathroom floor was flooding because the toilet and sink were leaking. Fridge wasn't cleaned after the last people. And that was before we discovered cockroaches. We were welcomed by an apartment that was so dirty that before using anything, we had to wash it. Started washing dishes and found out that under the kitchen sink sewage water was leaking on the kitchen / living room floor. Tried to locate the source and found cockroaches living in the cupboard under the sink and under the kitchen cupboard. Saw one running around the kitchen floor before heading back under kitchen cupboards. Contacted booking.com, described the situation and said that we can't stay at a place like this for 11 nights, moved out there and asked for a refund. Didn't get any solution from booking.com as they literally disconnected calls with us and the host ignored us. The host did at first offer us another apartment of theirs, but considering the cleaning service they use (or don't) we were not willing to risk staying at another apartment in the same building that most likely would've had the same issues. We'll be taking action against the host as they've declined our refund and ignore our messages. Recommend everyone to avoid staying there, if you're not interested in having cockroaches running around and over your stuff. After reading other reviews you can see that this is a pattern for this host as they (or neither booking.com) don’t care about any cleaning or sanitizing standards that they have written down in booking.com partner requirements.

The location was very ideal to travel, easy street excess. 24hr small shops nearby. Spacious and clean apartment, easy checkin process, kids loved the pool and Facility. Very safe.

MalaysiaBe careful of hidden charge (cleaning fee etc) cause at booking.com shown Rm160+ but final price was rm260+. We had difficulties to check in cause their staff won’t pickup the call and connecting thru whatsapp group only. From the booking process (we need to fill up form including id photos and have to transfer deposit rm300), to collect keys in the mailbox (we have to again register at security guard until we found out our room did not cleaned up yet! Walking into messy and dirty bedroom were totally frustrating. Even the staff change our room to new one but still we have to repeat the check in process collect the keys at the lobby etc and move our car to 7th floor carpark. The worst thing was we had argument with security guard regarding access card. Moreover, the online staff promise us will return deposit within 24 hours but they were late. I had to follow up but they tend to ignored me. Even later they had transferred the deposit (i checked my account) but no one inform me anything.

PortugalIt was unfortunately not clean when I moved in. Shower smelled like urine, kitchen was super dirty. Not even a new fresh sponge. Loudness was okay, is just main street and there you hear the cars, ambulances and trains, quite normal. With the window closed, everything was good again. Location is very ghetto like, street-hockers and very many rats. Unfortunately, I did not like the area at all. Also nothing to reach on foot.
Apartment had a lot of space, good view of the back of the city. Floor 32, which had an additional winter garden, not all floors have. Wifi was okay, now and then crashed, after reboot rund again. huge large pool. Gym somewhat lacking in equipment, more for cardio, little for muscles.
