We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

I had booked this property before, but unfortunately, this time the owner seemed unprepared, missing out on our stay. However, he handled the situation well by politely acknowledging the oversight and quickly preparing a room for us. Although the air conditioning wasn't functional, the owner made genuine efforts to compensate for the inconvenience. Despite these hiccups, I still had a great overall experience, rating it 9/10.

The room is comfy and spacious. The direction given is easy to understand. The host is helpful and allowed us to check-in late at night. This place near to Penang Hill and other attraction places.

I love this place a lot. It feels like home. The host was friendly too. The place was so squeaky clean. He allowed me to park my car inside the compound. The password for the lock and keys are easy to access and check~out. Will definitely stay there again next time I go Penang.

MalaysiaNo hospitality. No reply from the owner when have issue open the gate. He hung the call. Tried to whatsapp the number provided but it showed only message allowed. And no reply when asked for password thru booking.com if there is wifi available. There is a family living at the ground floor but totally separated from the 1st floor from the room we stay. We went up along the stairs besides. Quite scary when there is no one in the other room at the same floor. We saw clothes still hanging in the closet and wonder who was living there before. Totally no hospitality and no water refiller provided. They just put a jar of water on top of the stairs. We dare not to drink it. The bathroom is quite dark and dirty. If want to buy food to eat, there is no kitchen or space provided. Just a room to sleep. Not worth at all. This place is two rooms there are already unoccupied and they want to rent it to make profit and just leave customer alone staying that scary house. You will paid before come in and stay there because don't want to waste money and when we check-in evening. I have a very scary night. Woke up at 2:30am and fell asleep an hour later. Woke up again at 6am until when the sun rise only, I opened the curtain could slept until 11:30 am and quickly check-out. I intended to hike Penang Hill the next morning but not dare to leave my daughter alone in that room. The whole process I don't receive any message from the owner. All self check-in and check-out without any concern from the owner. One of terrible night travelling in Penang. Luckily we did have a very good stay in Tanjung Bungah with a nice owner and much better place the night before. Regret for booking this "room"! Not recommmend at all for the owner is not serious and sincere doing their business.

And tho it's family house, we felt secured, and privacy level is at the top! I will definitely recommend others to stay here since the price is beyond affordable! 😬😌
