How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Swimming pool closed and executive lounge on 25th floor closed.tempary lounge open on ground floor next to entrance which was very noisy from large groups checking in and aircon couldn't cope with doors opening regularly.
I liked the staff and especially Nareen.He was very friendly, helpful and happy.The barman was also friendly.

The hotel has not reached the pre-pandemic excellence i used to love about Furama Bukit Bintang
Still love the location and the breakfast at the Executive lounge on the 20th floor

You could have not charge money for water.
The location was near Berjaya Times Square so it was exceptional. The interior was good with the barista.

Breakfast is not worth the price. Just doable. You get better breakfast at 30 ringgit.
This is very near to Berjaya Times Square and Imbi monorail station. Just Behind actually. You need a short walk. If you take a taxi the ideal fare is 7-8 ringgit.

Cleaning staff did not come and clean my room even after the third day. I had to remind the front desk about it before it was done. They did a good job, though, when they came to clean my room.
Room size, food in the restaurant. The morning breakfast at the Executive Lounge was good. Location as always was splendid. Staff was helpful.

I chk in at furama hotel at 7pm The customer service give higher level at 21floor When I go inside the room it's something fishy the smell very smelly so my husband ask to change to other room.Its a bad experience for me. The food just nice👍👍😘

No Indian food options. The pool needs to be a little bit more clean, tiles of the pool are coming out at places.
It is located in a prime area and the room is really spacious.

Breakfast was appalling. Food selection and quality are well below standard expected. The place looked a mess at 9am with most food gone as refill was very slow. Worst part was the dining room staff who told us to use the pool side and then proceed to lock the through door without notice/explanation. We had to walk through the pool area to get to the dining room. A long walk not recommended when carrying food/hot drinks. Simple polite notifications and option to move to the dining room which has got plenty of available tables would be an intelligent move, management should consider better training for guest relations.
Room was clean and good sized, very comfortable and quiet. Reception staff were very nice, check in was smooth. Good for putting your head down, just would not recommend eating at the hotel if breakfast was anything to go by.

The only thing I dislike was the rooms are very dusty, with a little bit of cleaning and vacuum it would have been perfect

Sound insulation was unsatisfactory. You can hear someone taking shower and talking from the adjacent room

On executive floor - the airconditioning temperature was too cold, and not adjustable. The room was not cleaned even after 4 days - and I had to speak to the guest services before someone came to clean up the room and provide fresh towels.
