How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The basin is not spacious at all because no place to put our toiletries. The lights are not bright at all in the room. No mini kettle to make hot water & no complimentary coffee or teabags. Normally for this room rate I paid in other hotels, at least they met my requirements.
The room is quite spacious & the beds are comfortable.

The airconditior not really working.. we ask the staff to check on it.. the staff came in and told maybe it need time to fully function.. yet, it still didn't cold the room entirely after few hours.. but since we are really tired, we just sleep lah..

There is no lift and we need to carry our luggage 5 people to the 2nd floor.
It is convenient to travel to the town as it is only 7 to 12 minutes away. There are a few restaurants and fast food near by that make it easy to find a place for breakfast. AEON mall and a petrol station were just opposite the hotel.

Water heaters do not function well. Only get solved after complaining to the counter. Air-cond not as cold as the temperature. The room doesn't have a window and all uses warm light.
So far so good. Near to shop lot to grab the food.

A very impressive and pleasant staying compared to any other previously experiences in other accommodations. A rather strategic location with convenient stores and hawker centres within walking distances. Comfortable and clean rooms with external windows attached is a big credit to the staying. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Worth for our next staying in future again. Thank you.

1) The TV location is too far from bed 2) TV not operational 3) Lamp inside toilet is broken 4) Male staff is kinda rude bit toward other client that complaint during my check in, which he just told the client to complaint at website with condescending tone which at very least he could say nicely.
1) The location is okay which got oldtown white coffee and korean fried chicken downstairs 2) The AC working nicely 3)The female staff during my check out is awesome and polite as she noted the problem that arise during my stay.

we were given tv remote with no tv, reason given was earlier customer request the tv to be removed. they came an install the tv, the man was in his sarong. It was a walked up hotel , no lifts, there was bunch of hair at the shower drain. Aircond was too warm
convenience locations with old town coffee next/beneath the hotel, clean towels & bedsheets . Love the soft pillow.

The toilet needed a bit of a cleaning; the sink and the area around the toilet bowl could do with a bit of scrubbing/Clorox. And even though the receptionist told us there was an iron board and iron provided outside the room, I couldn't manage to find it. There wasn't a telephone provided in the room that could connect me to the receptionist, so I didn't bother asking further where the iron was.
For its price, it exceeded my expectations. The room itself was large, spacey enough for 3 to 4 people, even though I shared the room with only one other friend. The toilet was large too! So many room space, and the water pressure was strong. They provided us with 1 shower gel, 1 shampoo gel, and a pair of toothbrush + toothpaste kit, so you don't have to worry. There was even a hair dryer mounted to the wall near the vanity area, as well as a kettle and 2 mugs. It was very accommodating. The bed was comfortable and spacey enough.

Dont have lift. Dont have water heater at bathroom. Pillow too thin and not comfortable to sleep.
