Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

FrancePool was totally full of kids, no way to get in and enjoy. I think half of the building is residential and the pool is shared. The pool is why I booked this hotel so it’s disappointing
Location is good, room are good. Quiet if you ask a room opposite side of the road

MalaysiaThe hotel is actually within / among shoplots, the entrance is not impressive but overall service is ok whilst the hotel is situated next to a very large (maybe the largest in Msia) Mydin hypermarket. not much choice in kota bharu anyway (i was expecting a standard like Marriott)
Excellent bfast, comfortable room though the setting could be better (make it more appealing - modern furnitures etc)

MalaysiaIt was strange for the toilets and showers to be built in the same space as the bedroom i.e. they are not completely sealed off - the doors were simply glass doors with gaps on the top and better, which meant they are both ventilated into the bedroom. The soundproofing can also improve as prayers seem to play almost 24/7 in the hallway, which can be heard hrough the main door. There are also too many elevators, each only accessing specific sets of floors which, despite the signage, can be confusing
The location only because we had a work event at Mydin Tunjong which was less than 5 mins walk away.

NorwayAt this price range I would've liked the beddings and bedsheets to be fresher, white (even if it's not linen), and pressed. The bedsheets, pillow covers are too "limp/lifeless/used" for my liking. I stayed during one of the school holidays so the hallways were filled with families and kids running around from room to room wo shoes. I must've been checked in to a family floor even though I was a single traveller. Parking space is in competition with people attending events at the hotel as well as those frequenting the commercial establishments also in the same building. Offerings from the inhouse restaurants for room service are rather slim IMHO.
Close to the main thoroughfare between Kota Bharu and Ketereh, with commercial centers and shops all along either side of the thoroughfare. There is a big shopping mall just 3 minutes away with plenty of options for fast food and shopping,

MalaysiaAt the lobby, there was a parking sign that said “Valet Parking”, but in actual fact there was no valet parking offered by the hotel. Booked 4 rooms, all of the rooms had issue with access card where we could not enter the room, and had to go to the concierge to reactivate the card. One of the room had aircond issue where it was leaking.
Location and parking was easy to find.

MalaysiaThere were no towels, no toilet rolls provided during my first day... perhaps it was missed by mistake by the housekeeping staffs. So, i had to call the receptionist to request those items. Not only that, the TV remote control battery had run out, so it's not functioning. Therefore, i had to call again the receptionist to send staff to take a look at it. Just imagined, I did a series of phone calling when I just arrived, thanks to their lack of meticulousness.. And this experience definitely not a good first impression for this hotel. Then, the toiletries provided is 1 set only (contains shampoo, bath gel and body lotion). But the room I stayed in was a twin bedroom with two single beds, because i stayed with my co-workers. By logic, we were obviously not a couple/spouse that's why we booked separate beds. If we do not share bed, why did they think we will share toiletries??? This is the logic that every hotels should consider when providing their facilities. So, for room with 2 single beds, i think the hotel should provide 2 sets of toiletries instead of 1 set. What more, this is not a budget hotel, why they need to budget on the complimentary items? The room is for two, right? So, should provide the items in two sets.
Served mostly local foods such as Nasi Lemak, Nasi Kerabu and Nasi Dagang. Breakfast was quite variety, but this was what I expected from a 4 stars hotel. Room size was good, location near to Wakaf Che Yeh and Mydin mall. Breakfast was satisfying.
