A miscommunication from the staff, during check in on method of deposit payment. Been told that deposit can be paid via TnGo ewallet although it should be by cash or Credit Card. That led to difficulties of reclaiming the deposit back during check out.

The location is within a walking distance to Jonker while still comfortably located away from the busy street. Rooms are spacious, suitable for a big family. Breakfast provided at the Heeren Palm Suites, about few minutes walk, a beautiful place itself. Definitely will consider coming back.

Parking could be a bit of a problem during peak period.

Centrally located near attractions like Junker St, Sadthuys, riverside walk/cruise and the Melaka Megamall. Breakfast was simple but good with very attentive and friendly service staff.

Didn't realise there's a staircase inside the room and toilet is downstairs, making it inconvenient to go toilet. Registration is across the road, at another hotel.

The aircon was switched on beforehand by the staff a very heartwarming gesture. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast spread is good.

Lower flooor bathroom has some sewage smell. No bowls provided, only plates. Also no knives (for safety I think) Receptionist explanation on how to get to house is a bit blurr. Wish there were more nyonya kuih for breakfast

Location is very good, walking distance to jonker, pak putra. House is very clean and spotless. Towels and sheets smell good. Easy parking in the house itself. Room only ready at 7pm, compensated with late checkout.

The kettle doesn’t look too clean so didn’t use it.

Love the location, it’s just beside the main Jonker street but it’s quiet. Love the historical meaning behind the accom and the room is very big and spacious. Overall, the place is quite clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly!

They own 2 building and only 1 has reception. There is no fridge in room but not major issue. There are mosquito in room, got bitten once or twice but they do provide electrical repellant. No lift and tight small steps for stairs but hey these are all original structures of these houses. If you can appreciate the beauty of the house, a ll the above arent a problem to me

Parking is secured. 4 lots locked behind gate compound. 2 lots surrounded by cone and they will shift your vechile when lots inside are available. You have to pass them your keys to do so. Rooms are clean, infact I waited a long while for them to cleanup the room prior to check in and saw them cleaning the room next to me, yes they mop the floor. Amenities are all there, toothbrush, paste, towels, water, coffee, boiler, smart tv and 2 big beds. Service is exceptional. All of them, from reception to cleaner to cooks, all of them smiles, friendly and did their best to assist you with your queries. Breakfast variety isnt alot but its good enough, porridge, nasi lemak, beehoon, pasta, bread, egg, cake, hotdogs, redang chicken etc. Location is perfect, jonker is basically next to it, near to crowd yet not noisy. Its a boutique hotel, the history, the design, the people, the space and comfort. I will choose this hotel again if i visit melaka.

Facilities for disabled/physically challenged could be better. Note that there are no lifts/escalators, for instance. Website seemed to imply that it is more disabled friendly but was not the case. However, my special requests was responded to on a timely manner and were told in advance that the room selected (Suite) was on the 1st floor. So we knew of the limitation before hand. Luckily, we could manage somehow and the positive aspects more than compensated for this. Unsure if there are other specific rooms that cater for this group. Due to proximity to Jonker Walk, traffic on the single lane/one-way road may be congested during peak and holiday periods.

Clean, spacious (Suite for 4 pax), strong water pressure, powerful aircon. Staff were very friendly and attentive. A limited number of car park lots available within building compound and secured at night. Walking distance to many local attractions esp Jonker Walk. Breakfast buffet spread (incl in room price in my case) was good. Overall, was happy with the value received for the price paid.

I really hope the rates could be lower especially there are numbers of rival hotel companies of the same concepts nearby. it is quite high considering we had to cross the busy road and climb some stairs to get to our room upon check in and coming back from going out, and there's another stairs in the room itself. NiPlus you are absent of amenities such as elevator, swimming pool, gym (closed due to covid) and playroom.

I love the ambience, decorations, breakfast selections and concept of the hotel. Room was spotless clean from dust but we found a used kid's pants under the bed 😅 staffs exceptionally wel-trained and professional. Bed was clean and comfortable. Slept soundly for 2 nights of our stay.

The water heater in our room was not working but the staff informed us about it when we checked in and offered us a small discount.

The staff were great and very helpful. Hotel is within walking distance to Jonker Street yet away from the hustle and bustle of it. Breakfast was quite a good spread too.

We were warmly greeted by Lia upon arrival. As we arrived early, we requested for an early check in at 1pm. Not only we were granted an early check-in, but we were upgraded to Super Deluxe Suite at the Heeren Palm Suites which is just across from Heeren Straits Hotel. The hotel itself has its charms and warmth, and the room is beautifully decorated. We had a comfortable stay but the best part is their dedicated and friendly staff. We'll not hesitate to recommend this place to family and friends and we'll definitely come back again.

The receptionist is not knowledgable and quite blur. As the first person who guest would meet once entering the premise, they should explain about the basic informations such as parking on the sideways must pay with coupon and where to get the coupon (I was fined for parking less than 30mins during hotel checkout coz I did not know about the coupon), where to have breakfast, where is the designated parking area, no help on the luggages during check-in, no welcome drink is served (because I saw welcome drinks were served at the receptionist area on the next day); basically explaining the do’s and dont’s. Please set a friendly and trained person as receptionist because we were clueless for a few minutes during check-in.

Strategic location. You can walk to anywhere in Jonker. Nearby to Pasar Karat.
