Nowhere really comfy to chill other than your bed. Tent beds are stuffy and get too hot if you don’t have the fan going - but you can angle the fan away from you at least so it’s not blowing directly on you all night as it’s quite cool in the evenings.

Excellent location, basically across the street from the bus station to go to Georgetown or KL. You can walk anywhere in town from here. Not much of a vibe when I was there but there is a common area that is sort of like a big dining room. Loved the privacy of the tent beds and double pillows! Good wifi, hot showers, purified water, lockers close to the tent beds, friendly staff. Free breakfast is just toast. They have universal adapter plugs in the dining area (I forgot mine!) but not in the tent beds FYI :)

It may get cold while going to the toilet or taking shower at night, as you need to go through the balcony

It's in the heart of Cameron Highlands, a 5 minutes walk from/to the bus station and many restorants and cafes nearby. The staff helped me to plan the trekks in Cameron, they were so welcoming. The breakfast was nice

I was in the upper dorm, the floor was pretty wobbly as you walk. The bathroom is “outside” - but it wasn’t a problem, just cold at times. Hot water wasn’t always working. Strange sink.

I stayed for 2 nights. The hostel is very chill. Met great people here and did a hike together🫶🏻 bed is comfortable and you get a towel for free. We were only 3 people at 8 dorm so it made it really private and spacious. The guy working here is really cool too.

The Hostel has a very welcoming and cozy atmosphere. The people working there are incredibly helpful with recommendations on what you can do in the surrounding areas. For me especially, they went above and beyond in contacting me directly after I left when I forgot something in my room and sending it to my next accomodation.

Hikers Sleep Port Guesthouse is a gem of a hostel!!! The staff are wonderful, Dan & Irfan, especially one of the owners, Marina, who is such a joy to visit with, as if I’ve known her all my life and who also gave me a brief historical facts of the 100-yr old building with the floor/doors/knobs still in their original state. they have a unique set-up, one can either stay in the dorm area or the cool & only hostel in the world that brought in “tent” style private rooms indoor, owing to owners being hikers, thus, the name of the hostel, as well. It’s smack dab in the center of Tanah Rata, a 5-minute walk to bus station, and everything you would need within a minute walk, since the town is very compact & small!!! They are also tour conduit. Love this boutique hostel because it has only maximum capacity of 42 people, much better & quieter hostel where everyone can meet one another, there are wonderful space for everyone since the lounge/dining/beautiful chilling divan area are all an open space! Thanks you for an amazing stay, Marina & staff!!!

Nothing. It is just sometimes a bit scary when I am alone at the the top floor once other peoples already check out.

Unfortunately I am a person that like to skip breakfast. So I am unable to comment about it. But the location is nearby a lot of shop that you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner such as Family Mart, Tealive, and others. It is also just 7-8 minutes to reach Cameron Valley Tea 1 and 2 if you ride motorcycle. 5 minutes from the lodge there is DIY shop. The owner also generous enough to keep my luggage 2 hours after check out.

The breakfast was very basic, would be nice to add some fruit.

The place is quiet, so good for a sleep. The individual "tents" are a good idea for a little bit of extra privacy.

I don’t have a bad thing for this place. They could upgrade the breakfast with an alternative to jam. But that’s being picky 😅

A cozy family home. More or less perfect place if you want it quiet. Not a party place. But for me it was all I needed for this stay. Very nice sleeping huts. And you can walk to the hiking trails. There weren’t a lot of people during my stay but just enough. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the lady who gave us restaurant and food tips!
