Only downside is the lift accessibility. You have to switch lift to go to Guest room level from Level 8. So if you are from Ground level, need to go level 8 (Reception), then switch lift to go to your room. [Eventhough the lift we took have buttons for level 9 onwards but couldnt go (shouldnt have place the button there in first place)]. Similarly to go to JBCC Komtar, from your room need to go level 8, then switch lift or stairs to level 7, then proceed out to Carpark (beside entrance theres small door to Mall Lift). But this is small issue compared to great hotel experience.

First time staying here. Managed to score early check in at about 1pm, maybe because we booked on a Wednesday so not many people. Staff were friendly and courteous and check in was done quickly. Room was clean and spacious enough for 2 girls. Tv channels were abit boring but we could screen share so we just watched from our phone. Toilet was big and clean. Basic amenities were provided. Had a good sleep except the second night as there were constructions going on outside the whole day (the new train line to sg). Light sleepers do take note. Better to bring ear plugs as we woke in the middle of the night a few times.

At the standing mirror, the lighting is very dim, very hard to apply make up. Can't do it in the toilet is because the mirror is too far from the basin area. If swimming pool can be open at 6 am or 6.30am will be perfect. Breakfast can be improved.

Staffs are very friendly n attentived. Love the room n view. Syam at the check in counter fill me up with lots of infor about the hotel n benefits.

Very bad dinner experience at the coffee house. Although there were very few customers but service was extremely slow. Staff were busy chit-chatting amongst themselves and not attentive to customers. That may be the very reason why customers avoided the place for dinner. Will check again the situation during my next visit.

When we found a new towel with hair, we tried to call the receptionist and housekeeping to no avail for 5mins. Had to personally go down to the receptionist to request one.

Price is on the higher side. Considering we will be making bulk purchases of CNY goodies, this was the perfect hotel option as it is just right by City Square and Komtar. Going to customs is also very easy and convenient, not subjected to traffic situation

Check in process was a little less hospitable than expected.

Any requests made to front desk during the stay was attended to quickly. Swimming pool was nice and easy to access too.

The shower screen privacy button was spoilt & it was replaced by an opaque blind, which made the toilet very dark. Should have offered us a fully functional room.

Location, shopping malls right beside, spacious room, breathtaking view . Rm 3012 is a connecting room to Rm 3011. Well suited for families who require adjoining rooms.

The wifi was a bit poor during my stay. When we were watching TV program, it would hang halfway through the program.

I like the location as it is just next to City Square shopping mall and within walking distance to nearby shops, cafes and restaurants. The room is big and clean. The bed is very comfortable too. The toilet is also big and spacious. I like it that it has a big table top so I can put my toiletries bag/ makeup / skincare.
