Jonker street within walking distance surroundings quiet. Rooms are clean

Host called to inform that he would be available until 5pm for check-in. After which, we could only check in after 8pm. However, host was not in the office when we arrived around 4.45pm. Luckily, the weather was good. We had to wait for about 10 mins for him to turn up.

The location was fantastic. Food & night life was just a short walk away. The place was clean.

Located right in the heart of Malacca, this is a huge shophouse perfect for big groups and families. Then property is very private and gated, is quiet even though it's very central and is also within walking distance from so many amazing businesses. Would book it again if I return to Malacca!

The location of the property is close to the town centre, only few mins walking distance. The property also has very big car parking space. If you drive car to Melaka you don’t need to worry about finding car spot in the city centre. I just park the car there, and then walk to the centre . The property is very spacious and could be great if you have a big family .The staff is very friendly and approachable. I have troubles to call the car rental company. The staff helped me to call the rental company and explain to me how to find the car return location in the airport. He can also speak English and Chinese ( including multiple different dialects)which is easy to communicate if you need any help.

Nothing to say/complaint. But good to have aircon at Hall (is recommendation).

The journey to Melaka and to homestay Jawa was pleasant and wonderful. Managed met the owner in person, whom hand over the key and bring us to the hse and explain the hse. The owner young Chinese men friendly and good looking. with good english :). he helped whenever there is request (i whatsapps him). the hse condition clean/neat. well maintain. is a big hse and huge. we had all we needed as requested. The parking easy and safe. Also managed to talked/chit chat with neighbors next door, The Hse so nearby with Melaka Little India/River/Jonker Street/Menara taming sari/A famosa/etc. Thus easy to drive/walk. And also easy to find shop to buy grocery/food/etc. Is a amazing trip and stay. Thanks to the JAWA HOmestay owners/team. Will go again:)

Road leading to premise is bit traffic heavy . Small road in between buildings

Seriously I love the stay very much. Very near to jonker and they even had private parking. So we only took our car when we check out because all the places are basically walking distance only. Huge house and very clean too.

The traffic around the area can be quite congested so it is good to walk around. Don't drive around the area if possible.

The location is very near to Jonker Street. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Also very responsive. As the houses were next to one another, we have to be a little more mindful about the noise level. It was thoughtful of the staff to provide us the mosquito repellent incense and that really helped a lot especially when we were on the ground floor. We loved the shophouse concept and will consider coming back here again in the future. There are many good food nearby and we had no worries about the lack of food.

It looks far on the MAP but in less than 10 min - there I was - JONKER WALK. Ample Parking SPACES. Lovely big houses - the 5-BED was FANTASTIC, loads of private spaces with comfortable sofas, even for a group of 10. With 4 BATHROOMs and TOILETs - take your time - no one's knocking ! & you know you'll regret, if you don't stick with 1 of those must-eat highly_recommended list(s); ample toilets are ... quiet ... good beds, with fresh clean linens, sheets, ... You'll get a good night's rest ... Great HOSTs/Staff, the neighbours are warm & friendly, even better !!

The place had multiple living areas which were great places to sit in a group, but as they weren't air conditioned, they were too hot to use. There is a 2 burner gas stove in the kitchen, but no pots, pans or cooking utensils. There are doors which join to neighbouring units which have large gaps under the doors, so noise from other units can come in. Having said all this, it was still a great place to stay.

The location is fantastic. It's very close to the river, but not so close that you get the noise. It was very quiet, well furnished, well set out and decorated. Beds are comfy and there are air cons in each bedroom. Staff were friendly and accommodating. On site parking was a real benefit.

The people who booked the unit next to ours was very noisy. The sound proofing in the place is not good. They should have a cut off time for noise. They brought their own karaoke set and so the noise was horrible.

The place was clean and basic but the location was very good. Walking distance to Jonker street and most places that we wanted to go to. The owner was very friendly. Plenty of parking spaces too which was good.

Walls are not soundproof but thats expected of a shophouse kind of housing. The hall, toilets and dining area were not fully enclosed, probably for ventilation as no aircons there, so mosquitoes could come in.

Spacious, clean, decent price and good location. Free parking as well. Road in is a bit narrow but we had no issues driving an Alza in. The donut shop near the vehicle entrance was pretty nice.
