I have slept there before and I would definitely come back again too. Really a beautiful authentic place. Not too big, so they have more attention for you than when you sleep in a big hotel. No breakfast provided. It would be good if the hotel can provide simple a la carte breakfast or American breakfast for the guest. The room is fantastic and the location is in the middle of city and easy access. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

It would have been great to have a simple toast with tea breakfast included. However it was not a big problem for us, as it was relatively easy to walk out for a breakfast. We ate thrice at Toh Soon Cafe for example which was about 5 mins walk way.

Beautiful mansion room and lovely decoration. A swimming pool (approx 3m x 10m and 1.2m depth) suitable for chilling out when it was too hot. The staff even served us cold water while we were playing in the hot afternoon. Great location. Across the street is an excellent tea house where we ate more than once.

The staff are EXCEPTIONAL. They are so accommodating, professional, polite and always present to meet any request. They are friendly but discreet. To walk through the front door and be greeted warmly with a smile really made me feel like I was returning home each time. We had 2 rooms as we were in 5 and both rooms truly exceeded our expectations in terms of layout and decor and amenities. The hotel is also really well positioned Definitely will recommend this to others

No breakfast available and coffee/tea only served on request during breakfast hours. Plenty of places to eat nearby but coffee and tea in the rooms would have been a bonus. A small issue but the convenience would have been welcome.

Really central to the wonderful George Town street art and heritage area. The family room was beautiful with two double beds on two levels and a front room area. Excellent staff who were friendly and so helpful. A wonderful converted mansion - a little gem of a place. We loved it!

Very unique hotel in the beautiful Peranakan style. The premise is super authentic and very impressive with all kinds of antiques but yet all comforts you need like aircon, nice updated bathroom, fridge, etc. We will definitely stay again at this place when we come back to Penang.

A couple of minor things, there is an outdoor night light that shines into our window rooms at night. The hotel staff were helpful and turned the light of for us at midnight each night. Another complaint is the high price of adding a day bed, it’s costs an additional RM100 for each night and the ‘set up’ consists of just putting a blanket and pillow there. If I had known that I wouldn’t have paid the extra as we could have done that ourselves. in the end we did not need the day bed and I still got charged RM200 for the cost of having a day bed for 2 nights. This left a bad taste to the end of the stay

The style of the place is like waking up in the colonial era! The staff is supper friendly and the location is superb! They even prepared a flower arrangement on the bed for our honeymoon!! So beautiful and romantic!! I had an injury while I was there so I needed ice twice a day and they always got it for me! I would stay there 1000 times more if I could!!

The shower hose and the bidet hose were not functioning well... it leaks and does not provide the right water pressure whilst showering.

the location was very convenient. The hotel staffs were friendly and the best of all, they allowed us to check in earlier than expected. Additionally, knowing the weather was very hot, they have turned on the AC before our arrival, allowing us to have a nice cool down in the room without further waiting.

The location was in the centre of town, near by to main attraction site at old penang town. The staffs were ever helpful, unfortunately my booked room had some water leak issues. It took them no time to help us upgrade our room. Kudos to the management and staffs.

there is no electric kettle in the room. if u need hot water, then they provide coway at the ground floor together with thermos, cutlery. No parking provided and need to park at public parking area. Per day rate RM6.
