The hotel location is just next to the seafood restaurant & coffee cafe called Yard & Co. These 2 are the highlight of this hotel. For breakfast, it is only a short drive away, 5 mins. Walking will be probably 10 mins away. Coffee shop called Sin Yuan. This is a budget hotel, the simple necessities are met. The hot water shower was great, it gives the kind of temperature you adjusted it to. Not like some hotels, the water from shower sometimes starts from hot to cold. Overall, I would recommend anyone passing this village to over night at this hotel.

1. I booked a super standard room which is too small. Since compound is so big, suggest that the hotel build bigger rooms with better facilities provided by those found in other hotel. Owner needs to go and check these out. 2. The aircon blowing at us when sleeping. 3. The quilt inside is not intact. Mattress not comfortable as springs have "sunken". 4. The toilet is too small and wet after shower. Hair dryer placed inside the toilet with wet floor is hazardous. Better have the hair dryer outside the toilet for safety. If space permits, good to separate the toilet and bath area so that the floor is not wet. Another safety consideration.

1. The room facing the seaview is nice. Though a little sad to see so much litters of plastics washing up the shore. 2. Nice ambience at the coffee house where we could see the sunrise and sunset. The Yam Latte is delicious. 3. Near the Sungai Ringgit shops, very convenient. 4. The hassle free of checking in and checking out.

The toilet cleanliness needs to be improved. The walls and edges needs a good scrup. The toilet seat also not fixed properly. The heater works well. The walls are thin and noise fr next door is loud.

The rooms are clean with very basic amenities ie electric kettle, 2 cups, bath towels (no hand towel), shampoo and bath gel. 1 table, 1 chair and a small wardrobe. Air con works fine. TV with limited local channel. I requested for more toilet toll and bath gel and got them without issue. The lady boss friendly and willing to help. Free parking. The ++ point is the big window and Seaview! Pay a little more but worth it.

Wish the hotel was able to clear the rubbish that was washed to shore by the side (short curve stretch) of the hotel. This will make the view even better.

The stated listing on booking.com does not state that there is no window, so upon payment at resort counter, we had to top up if we wanted window. The window view was the shore, which had many litters which created a different impression of this highly rated resort. The room was not well maintained as the floor felt dusty and sticky, with some strands of hair. The toilet had some moulds at the tilts. There were also spiders at the toiletries shelves, as well as ants on the toilet seat and basin. There was a strand of hair in the shower gel bottles given. Would be great if there is a long mirror as the only mirror in the room was the small one in the toilet.

I like that the popular cafe, Yard and Co, is directly linked behind the resort which makes it easy for return trips. The location is also near the popular Super Lobster restaurant, about 7min walk / 2min drive. The room is a sufficient size for a couple which was perfect. The counter staff was kind to share a taxi number to aid us in our transportation around Desaru.
