Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

Got a complimentary upgrade from the hotel with a bigger room. Everything was great with the location, comfort and the cleanliness. Provided a parking behind the hotel as well.

Centrally located at Jonker Street. Walking distance to many eateries. Very near Christ Church, the river. The night market was just outside the hotel. Next door foot massage was superb.

Singapore1) A lot of mosquitoes, couldn’t sleep well due to that. 2) May want to consider installing a mosquito Zapper in the rooms 3) The steps leading to the bathtub can be quite dangerous especially with kids and when it’s slippery. And there was also no handrail installed.
The location was excellent. The check in was fast and efficient. Managed to check in earlier than expected. The room was clean and well maintained.
