We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United KingdomThe check in procedure was difficult after a very stressful journey, the watsapp call wasn't answered and the chat finally was answered after about 10 mins, but I was worried I was going to be stranded at 11pm (solo female traveller). The room was noisy due to other guests as the room windows into the hall were "slats" so not soundproofed at all.
The location was excellent, 5-10 min walk into city, places to eat locally. The air-conditioning in the room was good 😁 The accommodation was basic, but suited my needs.

MalaysiaCouldn’t look the door properly because the side of the door frame was chipped away. So had to use the padlock as the only like protection from other people going into the room… the windows faces a hallway and the curtains are pretty see through. Luckily the windows are tinted so from the outside (with lights on in the inside of room) you can only see shadows.
Really great location. Within walking distance of Jonker street and the riverside. Fast wi-fi. The complaints about the noise and slow wifi is probably because other guests stayed during the weekends where there would be more people. So if you want to avoid that, it’s best to go during the weekdays (stayed Tuesday - Thursday)

GermanyNo option to refill water or make coffee/tea. The Wifi was working really bad sometimes. Staff on first day couldn’t give us any information about Melacca. We just arrived from Singapore and needed a SIM Card and a Money Changer. He said he doesn’t know about that, as he never needs it.
Close to the Jonker Street and Melacca River (~5min walk) and only 1min from the minimart. Staff was friendly and offered us an (expensive) transport to the Sentral Bus Station if needed. Room was basic, but clean. A/C and fan in the room, we only used the fan, so can’t tell about the aircon. We had free shower cream.
